Identifying the Opposition

I was thinking we need to find a word that will describe big government liberals and big government neocons, to magnify how both of them are the same.

I was thinking we should start referring to them as the "Tories."
we have to continue to group them as one and label them so.

Any suggestions?

Authoritarians

"Authoritarian" is the opposite of "libertarian."

Of course, you can be an authoritarian parent, believe in an authoritarian church or God, and join the authoritarian military, and still be a libertarian when it comes to our form of government.

The question is, who chooses which authorities you answer to? Voters, their elected representatives and government employees? Or you?

There is proper authority in government

Your designation confuses the issue, I believe.

Proper authority is the one we agree to be under - like a college class. You don't have to take a class but can do so if one desires to.

Our federal government is also an authroized authority - by the constitution. However, they are over-reaching their authority and becoming tyrannical. This, of course, is what we are all trying to stop.

The term libertarian is political in nature - at least that's the way most people take the term today. If we didn't have a proper authority as a group of people (right now, under the consitution) we would have anarchy (no authority).

Now, the thing is the constitution is suppose to allow our government authority to preserve our liberty - but the problem is our liberty is now being undermined. So the two terms go hand in hand rather than being opposites.

It all boils down to - HOW ARE WE TO WORK TOGETHER? We can be sucked into a collective told what to do. OR we can decide which cooperative ventures we want to join.

Then how about "anti-Constitutionalists"?

I agree that some people take "libertarian" as only political, but I don't agree that that is correct. It also applies to styles of parenting, etc. It's probably more correct to say that most people don't know what it means.

To clarify, perhaps it should be "government authoritarians" meaning those who believe government should be given and exercise maximum authority (the recent trend). It's another way of saying "collectivists."

Libertarians believe their rights end where yours begin. The purpose of government, if you are in favor of a libertarian government, is to protect those rights.

I think collectives is correct for the following reason

Their goal is boil humanity down to a "manageable unit."

They used communism, socialism, fascism to subdue individual freedom and independent thought.

They are collectivists. Real ID will define and eliminate the independent thinker.

We have euro

They want amero

They are working on an Afro.

It is collectivism.

They are collectivists.

Mao had them all marching in one direction...that is the plan.

Freedom is the opposite of collectivism in so many ways.

Think about it.

They also used feminism, very important, to tear down the family structure. Without it NWO is not possible. Has been very successful in the west. http://www.henrymakow.com/

calls then Collectives. I agree.

the opposite would then be Cooperatives.

I chose Tories

because I want people to see the resemblence of the struggles we face today are in many ways (if not struggling with more tyranny), similiar to our forefathers day against the Tories.
I feel in alot of ways many Americans are Americans and Constitutionalist first, yet they are dumbed down with the current two party system facade of left and right, dividing us over (for the most part), pety issues, when the "cores" of the Constitution are being dismantled in the process.
Maybe I'm wrong, and there are alot of socialist out there, who don't cherish freedom and individual responsibility, wanting the nanny state to coddle them from cradle to grave, for the government's admission of, slavery or servitude to the beast.

I pray not.

Corpocrats...

Corpocrats... Idiocrats...

Anyway, Liberals that don't want to be called Liberals call themselves Progressives and many NeoCons do not realize they are NeoCons. Try as you may to make up new words. I remain somewhat partial to "Tyrants" myself. Is not the very definition of Democracy, tyanny of the majority? The leftists are all about "Democracy" and Republicans forgot what a Republic is.

"But, indeed, no private person has a right to complain, by suit in court, on the ground of a breach of the Constitution. The Constitution it is true, is a compact, but he is not a party to it."

Liberal-Neocons

is my second choice, the first is simply, idiots, but I don't think the first choice is very effective. Obama is a Liberal-Neocon.

government of the people, by the people, for the people

I like

libra-cons or libracons!

or I use

Republicrats or Demopubs.

Clarification

is the purpose.
More and more people are realizing how our leaders on both sides of the aisle are for everything except Constitution.
A simple soundbyte or term, to describe these actions from our leaders, will be needed, to show they are the same. Rather than the terms Democrats or Republicans, which has many meanings to many generations.
