**Can we get a DELEGATE UPDATE on the front page???**

0 votes

Since it is the most important thing for us to accomplish, shouldn't we know how it's going so we can focus our time/energy?

Is it possible to place a permanent list/table on the front page with every state regarding the delegate situation.

Something like:

Alabama -- delegates and alternates needed (info link)
Alaska -- NO delegates or alternates needed
Arizona -- delegates and alternates needed (info link)
Arkansas -- alternates needed (info link)
California -- NO delegates and alternates needed. . . and so on.

Can someone get this to Daily Paul HQ?

I have advised against that

I have advised against that for various reasons.

We are doing well all over but we must continue to get more delegates all over the country help me get the word out.

Laurie i left a question for you in the trevor thread considering you believe i would be better off email the information to exaplin the process to people instead of calling them.

i will also post it here

1: What is the difference between a bound delegate - unbound delegate and portioned delegate and what procedure is required to differentiate the 3.

2: Explain the point of order once the question has been called and then has been objected to and while the objection is on the floor the order in which the objection can the be debated.

3: explain the difference between a proxy vote and an actual vote and what is the point of order when calling a proxy vote and is this standard practice, common or actually out of order, then when the question has been called can this be overturned or debated?

Now keep in mind these are only 3 questions of about 100 and those 100 are just the basics of understanding how the system works.

Dr. Steve Parent

And I already replied in *that* thread

How many different threads are you *attacking* me in? This is the third that I know of!

It's also bad manners to post the same post in several places-

I thought you said you were *gone*!

Maybe you can answer this then

what is the delegate situation in California? I have not been able to get an answer.

CA you can still file to be

CA you can still file to be an alternate you ned to call your county chairman and file.

They don't want to tell the opposition

I think you will find that they do *not* want any of that information public.

If you want to know, then contact people offlist or join your local groups who can answer your questions, specific to your area, in a private fashion.

The problem is, by keeping it "quiet" the work is not

getting done!

We just had two posts (Alabama and New Jersey) asking for delegates! This should not be happening at this point in the revolution. We need real-time info.

To hell with "them" and to hell with fighting a "quiet" revolution! We ARE going to the convention and, yes, they SHOULD be worried.

I think Dr. Parent is working on this....

That's great -- it's a start.

The problem is that it relies on people bumping it all the time. This needs to be a permanent fixture on the front page. We must look at it every day -- like the money ticker in order to keep us focused on the task.

Best Post Of The Day

Thats EXACTLY what we need.

Great!

I think this is a great way to make sure that people know when they need to voulunteer as a delegate. Also, it's great for people to be able to focus on other RP business if no delegates are needed in their area.
GREAT IDEA

My experience, so far

is that we can't always rely on the Meetup organizers to take the "delegate" ball and run with it. No offense to the many organizers (I am one) -- some people are just better at certain tasks than others.

We all need to work together on gathering delegates for each and every state. Even if you don' t live in say, Cleveland, join the Meetup and see what's going on with Ohio delegates. If everything is going well, pick another Meetup group and light a fire. Ask them to report back regularly. We can't fight a revolution if we have no information from the front lines.

Just one question

I have just one question, can't the same people that want to get on here and know all of our plans just join a local meetup group.
I'm just sayin.
