I posted this on another thread earlier but I feel this message is important. I apologize in advance for any annoyance this may cause.
Everybody wants something easy. This mindset is what got this country into the mess it's in right now. What Steve is trying to explain is that there are no bottled answers, just vast amounts of information available to anyone who wants to put the time into utilizing it effectively. The desperation in his tone is a reflection of what we all feel about having our liberty restored.
Dr. Parent sees the light at the end of the tunnel.
He is willing to give guidance to any who ask.
There is not enough time or manpower to can this into MSM soundbites and make it work.
WE have to make it work.
And no one is even talking about restoring our true republic very seriously yet (teamlaw.org). That task is even more monumental and also needs our full attention. But first we have to fight this fight and give ourselves every opportunity to win it.
Demanding more of SGP will not help, he has no more time to give, he gives all already.
His questioning of Lyman is a reflection of his passion for getting this message out.
Mr. Lyman needs to get on board and get us some delegates.

As a 20 year sales and marketing executive I will tell you that email is a useless vehicle for marketing your message. It's a total waste of time and money. Your response, if you get one, will be less then 2 percent and most likely less then one. If you have your panties in a bunch over an email list, you are getting all worked up for nothing. I'd give it a rest.

in the recent past he has mentioned (words to the effect) that he wondered why the GOP wasn't courting him...that he had an email list to kill for...of energetic, committed supporters who put their money where their mouth is.

I remember he Ron Paul supporters at the dailypaul divided up all the Ron Paul MySpace pages and emailed them for either our first or second major moneybomb to remind them of the upcoming event. Many replied they weren't aware of it and glad they were informed. It probably was one of the reasons we were so successful.

I work in this industry. Less then 2 percent are the stats. People buy email lists all the time. they waste money. I would tell you not to do it. Return rate is less then 2 percent. A bad investment is a bad investment.

Also, I don't see how "2%" answers any of the questions I posed. Especially since the context of my questions is a political mailing list of known active Ron Paul supporters and SGP seems to state that it should just be handed out casually.
Also, did you try contacting Ron Paul HQ and requesting their email list? Or was "2%" the answer to that inquiry also?

If you want answers, go find them yourself. It's not my job to give you answers. I have my answer and it's 2% that's why I don't use email marketing and it why my customers don't use email marketing. It's called return on investment.

Oh, by the way, my dad is doctor who does specialized natural supplement treatment for certain conditions. He purchased a email list of nurse practitioners to send treatment info to and it has been very effective for him.

I never asked you a question. I never posted an objection. You post questions and them bashed me for not answering them. I already have my answer, it's 2%. A bad return is a bad return. I was in direct marketing for 2 years. I sold email lists. They only caused me to have unhappy clients. Why....bad return on investment. Email is static.
I now sell dynamic communications networks. I'm making a ton of money replacing email networks.
