Missouri GOP is trying to OVERTURN our caucus wins last Saturday.

We need help getting the attention of election watchers and fair election boards.

This is an email I got from our state coordinator:

Hi, guys. We called Jay Nixon's office, the election boards, the Missouri Secretary of State and numerous attorneys. Because the caucus process is conducted under Republican Rules, and is not part of the 'election process' as such, no documentation is filed or required under State Law, and the Sunshine Law is only applicable to 'governmental' agencies.

Louisiana was in the exact same position and the Campaign office attorneys hired numerous attorneys, including 2 election law attorneys - the result was the same there - they have not broken a LAW, but rather are breaking their own RULES. Previous caucus-goers lost everything because of this. Our only recourse is to expose the Party for its corruption. The Campaign is completing a press release, is already speaking to press, and is sending a formal letter to the Missouri Republican Party & National GOP.

Individual Missouri voters are contacting the ACLU, Judicial Watch, and other organizations to help them with individual civil rights actions. I'm doing the same.

Judicial Committee?

Surely the GOP has a judicial committee. You should always go through channels, first. There is probably a precedure for filing a complaint or asking them to address the problem.

I think that is part of the problem. We can't see the delegate lists to contest any of their delegates.

and for goodness sake

make sure you document everything. Organize and appoint people responsible for video/audio recording the meetings. Have your best speakers and debaters on point. Practice before you go with people familiar with the process

how many times

How many times have I posted that the GOP will not give Dr Paul the nomination regardless if they have to use legal or illegal means..We are DOA in the GOP and the sooner we get the hell out, go third party or even start a new political party the better off we will be...Everyone telling you don't worry everything is peachy and we will get the GOP nomination simply is not in touch with reality

No 3rd party, The LAW in my state:

Candidates who file a declaration of candidacy under a party name and are
not nominated at the primary election shall not be allowed to appear on the
general election ballot under any other political party name, nor as an
independent candidate.

No nomination = WRITE IN campaign is the ONLY other option.
Aw, crud. I just noticed who I replied to. Oh well, this point needs made.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

And anyone telling you that

And anyone telling you that a 3rd party candidate has a chance at being elected is delusional. The Republican party can be changed, not for this election but in the future. A 3rd party candidate has never been and never will be elected President.

Except

for Abraham Lincoln.

New Hampshire and Ecuador

well

then we are done...you will not change the GOP anytime soon and if Mccain wins the presidency it will certainly never happen in my lifetime

You're assuming McCain can

You're assuming McCain can beat either the HRC machine or the Obacult, neither of which can I invision.

You are wrong. we are winning

wait for a few years and see.

Ignore him

Maybe then he'll go away. If we're lucky.

Not

Not in the GOP..perhaps we can do something elsewhere but the GOP boat has sailed and once Dr Paul is buried back in congress progress will be hard to come by..The Vietnam "Revolution" died in a heartbeat and so may this one..We have embarrassed the GOP to much to ever get their favor..That's why a clown like McCain will be their nominee

We are the GOP

Any Missouri lawyers in the house?

Onward to the National Convention we go

The GOP here follows

The GOP here follows "Roberts Rules of Order" to determine disputes and to propose motions and such. The only way to fight the GOP is to use their own tactics against them.
http://www.robertsrules.com/

You guys need to get organized. Start attending any GOP meetings that your district may have. Learn how to propose resolutions and amendments. Learn what it takes to get a district captain or chairperson voted off. There is lots you can do but you need to be very familiar with Robers Rules.

Go to the Convention, anyway

The Mississippi Democratic Party tried the same thing in 1964 against black democratic delegates (the Mississippi Freedom Democrats). The media exposure was so embarrassing, the Freedom Democrats were seated. If the GOP breaks their own rules without changing them, they can probably be charged with violating federal election laws. Time for an attorney to look into this and a complaint to the FEC.

Civil suit?

Will a civil suit against the MO GOP have an effect?
