John McCain's campaign spending is breaking the law. He elected for public funding when his campaign was having trouble. But now that he is the presumptive nominee, he is, by his campaign's own admission, around $4 million over his legal spending limit.
I just did my part to stop McCain from breaking the law by signing the official FEC complaint against him.

If you check out the petition and look at the (.PDF) format you'll see. The name of his "Treasurer" is listed as Joseph Schmuckler! Ha, Ha, Ha, McCain's treasurer is "JOE SCHMUCK" ha, ha, HA, Ha, Ha, Ha!!!! :-)

McCain sure looks to be weighed down with inadequacies but...
I remember watching Al Gore debate George W and being embarassed for Bush. I really felt sorry for the guy- he got his ASS handed to him. I had never been more sure in my mind that that bozo would NEVER make it into the highest office of the land. Then he did. In those days ( before Id heard of what Diebold was up to) I saw the election results out of Florida, scratched my head and quoted John Wayne: "Well, I didnt vote for him but he's our president and I hope he does a good job". What a different world we live in today eh?

My suggestion is to file charges with the FCC as he committed to and took public money to run his presidential campaign. So, if he is NOT taking this money, there is another legal issue. John McCain never submitted petitions to be legally placed on the ballot to run in Ohio and Pennsylvania, (and who knows how many other states). Seems like a slam dunk for the Democratic campaign!
Aren’t you happy you have alert people, such as myself, to advise you of this very serious infraction of the rules, not to mention of the campaign laws.
Petition whom?
At present, the FEC has only two Commssioners on a 6-member panel. The other four posts are vacant and need to be filled by the Senate. Until that is done, the FEC is toothless, and this petition is nothing but a publicity stunt. The FEC can't raise a quorum to act on any complaint!, no matter how egregiously McCain violates his own rotten law.
I signed the petition myself, because even a publicity stunt raises public awareness of what a hypocritical slimeball McCain is But I don't hold out any hope that the FEC will be enforcing its own rules any time soon.
Since all three MSM-sanctioned candidates happen to be U.S. Senators, one might speculate on how anxious their Senate colleagues are to get the FEC up and running again. The Senate Rules committee, I believe, is the one that appoints commissioners, and it is chaired by Hillary Clinton's buddy Diane Feinstein. Anyone think Hillary wants to run against any Republican opponent but John McCain? Think Feinstein is going to get things moving? LOL!

Understand this. McCain broke his own law!
If he took the government matching funds he would not have to collect supporters signatures to get on the ballot.
He was excused the need for a ground roots support and given a right to be on the ballot because he was going to receive public funds from our taxes because he had a right to be heard to get his point across. So he didn't need to campaign and he didn't need to have support.
Then when he is winning he withdraws!!!!!!!!!

I didn't take the public money but I did take not having to get support to be on the ballot doesn't cut it with me.

ok i think i get it-
we want the emphasis placed on getting the delegates and if that fails- its because he acknowledges matching campaign funds and the "straight talk express" in effect comes to a screeching halt. My fear is that by the time anything is resolved he'll have blown all the illegal money getting to and beyond the convention where it gets swept under the table via a good legal team until people are more concerned with the shiny new war in Iran then with the fraud that made it possible.

I have lots of reservations about how effective this petition
will be in its current state. There isnt much time- and its already understood that it will be met with congressional inaction (now theres an oxymoron). Im hanging on faith that the framers of the petition and others with some expertise in the area of campaign finance laws have our back on this one- seems like a slamdunk- Id hate it to be shuffled to the side only to turn up later in some Michael Moore documentary in 2011 when it could have been nailed home NOW.
