"By Elizabeth MacDonald

Time to listen to Texas Congressman Ron Paul, the lone voice of reason in Congress today who’s got to feel like he’s shouting into a field of cotton with his repeated warnings about the dangers of a collapsing dollar, while the administration goes AWOL on the problem.

The dollar just hit a record intraday low against the euro on reports that consumer confidence levels have dropped to levels not seen since the post-Watergate era. It is down 7% year to date against the Chinese renminbi, it’s weaker than the Japanese yen and the Canadian loonie.

Congressman Paul rightfully warns us when he says the US government has “systematically undermined” the US dollar by expanding “the money supply at will for financing war or manipulating the economy with little resistance from Congress–while benefiting the special interests that influence government.”

Presidential candidates vilify NAFTA and free trade, when the weak dollar is partly to blame for problems like jobs lost to overseas operations, Malpass adds.

“Empires fail because they run out of money, or more accurately, run out of the ability to spend or inflate,” Congressman Paul warns. “We need to control spending, immediately, before it is too late.”

bump

screw fox.

Thank you for posting and please get

on and send a letter to Congress regarding all of the things they say they are doing to protect our nation, but why are our borders not secured, but they want to plaster all legal citizens with a suposed REAL ID w/all our medical records, financial records, etc... available on this card with a tracking device in it. We already have cameras on every corner and in practically every building and parking lot, not to mention the GPS in our phones and cars, we are being tracked, that is not FREEDOM for the one bad apple that is out there to do wrong, we are paying. No longer FREEDOM because they can cut you off in seconds, if you need this to get a job, etc...they can decide you did something wrong, just like YOUTUBE just recently did with me, on a much smaller scale, offer up no explanation and you are basically SOL! Then if they decide to tie that to your bank account or your food source, then what???

and they still do

NOT get it right, but at least with a thank you we can maybe get her to do a little more research.

no longer Journalism~

it is a media of "oppinionism" and everyone has one, they are very much tending to not reporting the TRUTH anymore.

While you are at it...

sign this petition...John McCain is a very bad, bad, boy!

Write

to cnn.com and ask them why is Ron Paul getting support from Fox, but not them now? Are you just going the opposite, did you forget it is called "journalism" not oppinionism????

listen

It is not to late to accept friends in the media.

Liberty is our campaigns gift to the world it is our manifest destiny.
Freedom is a movement who's time has come. Our campaign will lead world wide freedom.

The media is not your

The media is not your friend. They are your "frenemy".

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

just keep praying

we obviously need something BIGGER than us!

Perhaps a different motive??

I read a theory about why the old media may now be giving a little more time to Dr. Paul. Might have even been here on DP, I don't remember...

Suppose they realize that the statistics showing how much news coverage each candidate got clearly shows that they royally screwed Ron Paul. Maybe they would like to give him a few more appearances to make the statistics not look quite so bad, and they figure that it is now "safe" to give him some exposure since his 2008 bid for prez is no longer realistic.

As long as the statistics are not analyzed on a month-by-month basis, they might be able to say, "see, we gave RP plenty of exposure during the 2008 campaign cycle."

I'm not convinced that this is the real explanation for their increased interest in talking with RP, but it does have an interesting ring to it.

Plenty of exposure my....

foot!

People were talking

about suing...now they can look a little better and now they may be thinking it is too late, especially if the majority of people think it is too late. Keep spreading the message.

Better late than never??

This needs to go out to all those people who called Ron Paul's supporters, nuts, kooks, and wackos!!

so true

i just emailed Glen Beck and asked why can Fox come around to his economic ideas, but you guys leave him off of your poll? cnn.com to search Glenn Beck and see the poll, they even have NADER's name on it.
