We haven't given up or gone away. We're already a step ahead of you on the next phase. You just haven't kept up with the signals yet. Donate if you want, but it's not helping this next phase any.

we gave money and we gave votes and we came up short. The democratic race got competitive, and all the other Republican Candidates fell on their swords the second McCain pulled away from the Pack.

At this juncture giving throwing more money at the problem is not the solution. The BEST way to help the campaign is to infiltrate delegations being sent to the convention, and to seriously look at organizing legal action to Block McCain's delegates from being seated. A hung convention is our only hope.

Paul will not leave the party so its time to learn the party rules and exploit them.

I certainly never let Dr. Paul down. I've given him hundreds of dollars and support him constantly.

It's YOU who feel let down because the DP gang wouldn't do your bidding. We've all given plenty thanks.

I put out about $3,500 locally in Ohio before the primaries in advertising for Ron Paul. We didn't let Ron Paul down, I didn't even see your request, and there are a heck of a lot of requests going on. Keep up the great work.

I never let Dr Paul down. I'm one of those regular contributors that sends in at least a 100 bucks a month regardless if there is a money bomb or donation day. I promised I would do that all the way till the convention and that's what I'll do. :-)

I maxxed out a long, long time ago and I'll max again when we get to the point that he is allowed to have it.

multi-million money bombs take more than one post on a blog. How many people even saw your challenge? I know I missed it. I only have time to read DP on my days off, and then I try to limit myself to an hour, which means 20 stories tops and less if I reply to any.

I think it's a great idea, though - even though Hope for America has scaled back down to pre-money-bomb activity levels, that still takes money; and $5 million is not a lot of money to run a campaign for 7 more months. There's a lot of other worthy causes out there - it really is becoming "more than a Ron Paul rEVOLution" just as Ron Paul wants - but HFA does need ongoing support.

But I'd suggest a different approach to getting it. Just keep donating (any amount, even $10) at regular intervals - every week, every two weeks, every month - and each time you do, write another post telling DP that you're doing it and encouraging/challenging others to do the same. Not just DP; post the same message onto other blogs and forums as well.

It wouldn't hurt to talk about your commitment, or give an inspiring quote from or about Dr. Paul, each time, either. The more readers enjoy reading your posts, the more likely they'll enjoy reading more articles by you - meaning, the more often they'll hear your basic message about regular pledging.

IMO, you'll do well if you can inspire 1% of DP readers to begin pledging $10 a week - but that would still be $10,000 a month that would be of great help to the Paul campaign. And who knows - maybe you will find the words that will inspire all 25,000 readers to do the same - that would be a million dollars a month.

It's a great idea, if you wish to take ownership of it.

Guess I'm ahead of your game IZZY. I donated for the FOURTEENTH TIME on the 25th. If I'd seen your thread I probably would have sent another ten on the 28th.

Ease up dude, lots of us are in this for the long haul! This is the first political campaign I've ever given money to, so far over $1200.00, while I'm also trying to get out of debt and buy some silver and gold.

I love how passionate you are about this. Just bear in mind that the way things look/feel to you (or anyone else) isn't always the way they really are. I, too, missed the announcement entirely, and I'm not about to flagellate myself for that. Stuff happens. Keep working hard! Learn from this experience, pick another project, and jump back in. Choose to let go of the frustration and re-embrace optimism. The only person you can control... is you.

Also, how could you have asked all DP RP supporters? Did you have the admin post an advertisement all throughout the site? Or did you just post a single thread about the topic?

If you want big results it takes big efforts. You cannot claim failure on the part of DP supporters when most probably knew nothing about the efforts.

Maybe give it another try? Next time there needs to be more official support from DP to make sure everyone sees the message. Afterall, this site has 20 to 25 thousand visitors every day.

I was supporting Paul before most of the people on this site.

I gave every money bomb even though I could guarrantee I'm probably one of the poorest people on the DailyPaul.

As far as I'm concerned people of this revolution have bigger balls than anyone in our country, except for maybe the young soldiers who are the elitist pawns, and haven't got a clue why they are serving in Iraq for the fourth tour of duty.
