I just heard an interview with Dr. Steve Parent. If we can hear that interview after it goes off the air in a few minutes, I will try to post a link here.
What I have been wondering now for awhile is whether or not Ron Paul can still win the nomination by working through the delegate system.
It would seem that YES!!!!! IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!! RON PAUL CAN STILL WIN HIS PARTY'S NOMINATION (the Republican Party not a 3rd Party). Ron Paul has never said he wasn't running, his words have been scewered at times by people who want to slant things the way THEY ARE THINKING.
We need to BECOME DELEGATES, or BECOME A VOLUNTEER to help. Period. Pessimists die unheard and unaccomplished. If you are not going to help - sorry to say - but - SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!! or JOIN IN.
Primaries are only straw poles. Delegates matter.
We need delegates and we need to somehow get out of the mechanical voting machines, so that when the votes ARE counted, WE CAN BE HEARD, the TRUTH CAN RING THROUGH THE COUNTRY.
1.) Deletates. . .become one and learn Robert's Rules
2.) Get rid of electronic voting machines.
3.) Help Ron Paul make more MONEY!!!! So WHEN he wins he can just jump ahead and TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS!

As I understand, a "bound" delegate that breaks rank and votes other than the popular vote is charged with a misdemeanor and levied a fine. Big whoop for getting Dr. Paul nominated!

Everyday I see a post here or on the dailydose or at ronpaulforums where someone seems totally lost about this whole process. I am not angry because they ask dumb questions or do not understand delegates, but when are people going to look into this on there own. Instead of saying coming here asking general questions they have to go find the info out. We are no better than some McCain voter who votes and does not know the issues if we are going to vote for Dr. Paul and have no clue about delegates. This happens every election delegates are not new. OH well I hope as many people learn as possible.

There are a LOT of PEOPLE in this country!!!!! This is just one small forum! I think it is great when people ask for help, because that says that they are just about to take action! ASK AWAY! IF any of us can help you become a delegate - WE WILL!

an experience!!!! I met people from my area, and it was strange, it was stealthy, it was important, it was revealing. ..I wouldn't have missed it ! Go to your caucus meetings if your state hasn't voted for delegates just yet!
Get together with your meetup captains from the website, per state, ronpaul2008.com and let them show you what you need to do. We had some very incredible people at mine, we just didn't have ENOUGH Ron Paul people SHOW UP!

He quit because the way i understand it is in his email to me was that his channel has lost their way and have become dividers on that site and after my interview he said this time he is going to be part of the solution not part of the problem.
This is exaclty what i did when i left my party 3 months ago to support Dr. Paul and educate everyone on the delegate process and how the nomintaion actually works.
He also said he was sorry for the attitudes of the modrators in the channel last night and said he can't support the nay sayers any more because after hearing me he undestands we can still win this thing and he doesn't want any distractions.
Sometimes we need to make tough decisions to change things for the better and i thank him for having me on his show.

Folks! at my county assembly there were many delegates and alternates who did not show up! there are open seats.. GO GET THEM! just call your county GOP and ask them to seat you as a delegate... just don't tell them who your voting for!

I saw a post on the Daily Paul that you were on a radio . . .
interview, and at that very moment I clicked over to the link and heard I think about 1/2 of the interview.
The reason I put up a thread, is because most people don't have the "patience" EVEN THO I KNOW IT IS IMPORTANT to read through a big long piece put up here on the Paul. . .so I wanted to catch people with shorter attention spans and get right to the point.
If people need help, or have questions they can just ask us, but at this point we need to get people interested without going on and on about all the minute details. Meat and potatoes.
I think you are doing a great thing helping people become delegates and we need to support you with that.

I think our nation is getting ready to grow up
We are increasingly getting tired of the lies and hipocracy from the candidates. Let the country fawn over the flashy contestants as they slowly get stripped of their beauty- in due time they will see Ron Paul- right where they left him...unscathed- just as hes been through his entire political career. A personal life led by example. and when they weigh his stellar record and solid platform against the polished recycled versions of the same old crap- to quote Barak they will look at the media darlings through the eyes of serious economic crisis and desperate need to end a pointless war and finally say "Not this time...not this time".
