I've watched some of these before...

while researching for a paper on police abuse of tasers. The last one is especially chilling. Casually saying, "you've got blood on your pants".

Tasers "aren't" deadly. You know why? They tested them on pigs (similar to humans). The pigs were fine. One professor, however, realized that the studies had neglected to account for the thick layer of muscle that insulates pigs' hearts. Those studies were funded by, you guessed it, Taser International. So, John Webster did a study funded by the Justice Dept. where he removed the muscle from the pigs' chests, then shocked them. In ALL pigs, he was able to cause ventricular fibrillation!

We have parking issues in the city and one guy was waiting for a spot to open in a parking lot. The police came by and told him he had to move. For some reason the guy starts yelling at the police non-stop. He even got out of his car. The police told him to calm down or he will be tased. The guy said "Are you going to tase me mother . ." (tased) never got the last word out. I had to talk to my kids after that one. Not just about tasers but also about playing with pellet guns. They could be shot by the police with a real gun.

Here is the UF student getting tased remix. Someone put it to the song "Head like a hole". I find it so ironic that he is holding the book "Armed Madhouse" the entire time.

What ever happened to talking to the person and trying to work it out? I know that was the old protocol--sometimes taking awhile. Now, if you don't comply within seconds they have the right to kill you apparently.

Made me sick to the stomach! Where is the public outcry and outrage? Expired license a reason to torture someone, possibly kill them? Laughing at a dog while inflicting agony? Demanding a shock victim obey when they have lost bodily function? Are these cops being charged? I feel powerless to stop this inhumanity... Save us from the brownshirts! Isn't there something we can do about this?

What wonderful tools of torture and control at the hands of tyrants, eh? Will be an easy way to cause a riot during a peaceful gathering or protest... Like a shock collar on the neck of a pound-puppy... I can feel the fear creeping up the back of my neck.
