SD: Full Slate of Paul Delegates!

0 votes

Way to go, South Dakota!

Quick quote:

With an impressive turnout on behalf of Dr. Ron Paul, the 10-term Republican congressman running for president, we are prepared to send a full slate of delegates to the National Convention. Despite the glaring lack of media coverage and the assumption that the GOP nomination has been secured, the one true conservative in the presidential race has been given a voice in South Dakota.

Hats off to South Dakota !!!!!!!!!

What a great American State with great America people !!

"Obamney care," Nuff said.

Even if bound to vote

They can still wave their own chosen sign. For these "bound" delegates, I can envision an entire arena floor covered wall to wall with Ron Paul signs, cheering Paul. How's that for televised coverage ;-)

Joli Campbell is great. HEr and I were the main ones that were calling people all over the state to get Ron Paul supporters to the Caucuses.

Delegates are bound for the 1st vote.

But that doesn't really matter in South Dakota.

The Primery decides which slate of delegates goes to national.

We have to get at least 20% in the state primery.

Then the delegates get aportioned amoung all the slates that get 20% or more.

Concievably you could have uncommitted, Ron Paul, AND McCain all getting more then 20% of the vote.

The race has narrowed.

How bound are delegates? Can they be convinced that Ron Paul is the better choice? The choice is going to be between Paul and McCain, and of course the GOP would like for delegates to think this thing is all over. How independent minded can these delegates be? Are they going to march lockstep to the GOP instructions? Or will they listen to reason? We know that John Q. Public didn't get much of a chance to hear Ron Paul, but now that the target audiance is only the GOP delegate pool, where we have a much better opportunity to communicate. We have to break the GOP handcuffs off of the delegates with some hard hitting arguments. The lady from Alaska reporting on NolanCharts has the best idea. Check her out.

Thanks for some real news.

It would be great to win a state before September.

Great news!

Thanks for sending this on to all of us. It's so good to keep hearing about more and more delegate success.

SD ROCKS

WOOT! Go SD! I wish I still lived there and could celebrate with you!

Good for you!

Thanks! I needed that.

I think I may be developing a delegate addiction. Every time I read that there are a few more I feel more relaxed, a little happier, a little more confident. Then when it wears off I start craving more, I need more, I wnat more, where are some that I can recruit?
Thanks for the "fix!" ;)
