Reason given: "He cant win."
This makes me physically ill and mad as hell!

here's what the NC GOP is up to --
They are listing only McCain on their website so people will think Ron Paul has dropped out.
PLUS They want to list as many candidates on the ballot as possible -- even those who have already quit, like Huckabee & Romney -- to divert votes away from Ron Paul. (This is from Feb. 5, so not sure if the quitters were still submitted in March...)

Raleigh – The North Carolina Republican Party wants as many as five GOP presidential candidates on the ballot for the state's May 6 primary.
Party leaders asked the State Board of Elections today to list Mike Huckabee, Alan Keyes, John McCain, Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.
State law requires the state Democratic and Republican parties to alert the board by Tuesday about which candidates they want on their respective ballots. The Democratic Party's requests weren't immediately available.
The elections board will approve the candidate lists March 4. Some candidates could be removed if they drop out of the race. Others may be added if a candidate collects more than 10,000 petition signatures.

2 weeks later they have not corrected thier site!
After numerous phone calls and emails the NCGOP still has not corrected their site to reflect that Conservative Republicans have another choice as the Presidential nominee... which is decided at the National Convention ...not before remaining states have even had a chance to vote!
McCain is being shoved down the throats of many Republicans by Media and the GOP.
Ron Paul is the Real Republican and has the experience and record to prove it! www.ronpaul2008.com If you read his stance on the "issues" you can see he reflects the original platform of the Republican Party and is a man of principle & integrity! More military, active and retired, have donated to Ron Paul than ANY other candidate! We need to support our troops and respect thier voice!
Our primary is May 6th and alot of people will be googling for the NCGOP site and hopefully they will read down and see this thread!
We can add to it to reach and teach more people that may click on it!

Dear Fellow Republican,
In spite of the fact that my party is corrupt, lacking in integrity and seems to have no moral fortitude.... I assure you, I will be voting Republican this fall!
John McCain has not recieved the required amount of bound delegates and many states have yet to vote he is only the "presumptive" nominee at this point...anything can happen between now and then. There is a serious legal problem concerning his campaign financing as he has broken the very restrictions that he himself placed ( McCain/ Feingold). His foreign policy offers the same as Bush ( 100 yrs in Iraq) in spite of the fact that the overwhelming majority of Americans are against continued occupation, he is for Amnesty and against border control, he hasnt a clue about our economy or monetary policy! These are just a few of the reasons that he will not win the election even though (by hook or crook) he may win the nomination.
The nominee is not determined until the National Convention. Therefore, I urge you to realize that the GOP is disenfranchising true conservatives & democrats that are not happy with Hilary or Obama or McCain. The fact that you have willfully omitted Ron Paul on your website shows that you do not support Republicans. It is this kind of abhorrent behavior by the GOP that has galvanized many of us to take our party back! There are over 40 new Ron Paul republicans ...so far.. seeking elected offices across the country! Governors, Senators & Congressman to help guide those such as you who have strayed from the Party Platform back into a party that reflects the people and to a party that is electable! We are not going away quietly or otherwise we are here to stay and have a passion for our cause of Liberty.

Chris I noticed you left out Ron Paul from the Republicans running for President. As a registered Republican and conservative, I implore you be honest and do what's right and include the only viable Republican candidate running.
Heres' the thing, I'm not leaving my party. What you have done will only strengthen this resurgence of true conservative Republicans to take back the party. Our numbers are growing. Soon it will be a place you don't feel at home, just as you have made millions of Republicans feel by doing this. But guess what, when we have taken our party back we won't do this to you, because not only are we conservative but we're fair so you will always be welcome in our party even for your past and present sins.
Intelligence and forward thinking, is important for the Republican party. Look at what's coming and just as an act of survival do the right thing. There is no reason his name should not be there. Americans do understand the delegate process. Nothing is set in stone until Convention. Put him up, be decent and allow Republicans to have a better name than traitor, the very survival of our party depends on it. McCain can't possibly beat the Dems, but Dr Paul has a chance.

While looking at my own state of Pennsylvania and their GOP site http://www.pagop.org I noticed Ron Paul is also not listed. I had to log off quickly though to prevent myself from vomiting all over my monitor. There's so much McCain propaganda it makes me think that we're in for another eight years of Bush/Neoconism...People make me sick in this state!

Thats why I dont see the point of NCGOP leaving Ron Paul off the site ...it is a willful omission to keep anyone from voting for Ron Paul ..if they think McCain is the winner without the people even voting here yet... then why leave Ron Paul off? Also, why dont they just go ahead and decide all the other candidates that are running for office in NC and have only one choice for each of those before the people have a chance to vote?
