Only thing is, they just won't stop with the "who will you support if you dont win" crap.

Fake FEMA press conference?
A friend just told me FEMA held a phone press conference about the fire, with FAKE reporters, anyone know about this?
As long as he's alive...

any such "serious" conference might include Captain Janks. It's a reflection of the care and professionalism of the news media in checking sources...

He will be on Good Morning America the very next day and we want them talking about the "class" of his supporters through the Flower Shower "thank you" campaign.

Majority of Republicans?
I sure would like to know where they got these statistics. Most of the republicans I know are so upset by Bush's policies in general they have left or wanted to leave prior to Ron Paul's candidacy. RP is saving the Republican Party's butt, and they are doing everything they can to squash him.
Yeah, glad to hear him give
Yeah, glad to hear him give props to the "older people" and loved the part about if Guiliani changed pretty much all of his positions he would "consider" him...hahaha
Awesome!
This article gave Ron the chance once again to dispel the 'third party' myth or that he would EVER support a Democrat. (Because some think the position on the war makes him a democrat when it doesn't) This article did what all the other debates didn't — made him able to shine with his answers....way to go CBS. They need to be written and thanked for asking such great questions.
it was a good article. paul
it was a good article. paul is just as consistent as they come, with no dancing around answers. gives staright forward answers. his campaign is going to need to break through the invisible wall the media has put up and not be confined to internet articles, hopefully the fundraising this month, the tonight show, and november the 5th will help with that area.
Not Gonna Happen Like That
[Oops, this was meant to be a reply to "Answer".]
Remember, Dr. Paul is humble and he's not going to risk sounding presumptuous or cocky.
If I were him, I would politely ask them to refrain from asking such unoriginal questions that have already been answered ad infinitum.
Or, better yet, his campaign should make a FAQ and direct folks to read that on his website. That way, by parrying that dumb question, he can bring up his website--where one can find a complete list of straw polls where he has won, placed or shown. More, in fact, than any other candidate.
The website is looking really nice lately. He should definitely plug it so that folks will know they can find good stuff on there.

Great Article I Can Send to My "Progressive" Friends
I went to college in the late 60s with many who now consider themselves "Progressives" or liberal Democrats (the old term). They all shared a noninterventionist (anti Viet Nam War) civil libertarian point of view (where they and I parted company was over issues relating to regulation of the economy). I consider this article to be the perfect thing to send to them.

Wow.
Any mainstream media article that doesn't contain the words "crazy", "goofball", "hopeless" or "gadfly" are great enough...
The mainstream media is starting to swallow a rather bitter pill.
Answer
When they ask Ron Paul : Will you support another candidate if not nominated? I wait patiently for Dr Paul to say : The better question would be, will the other candidates support me when I win the nomination?
Press is press...
Don't you just love the way Ron Paul refuses to get caged in with pointed questioning? The media is coming at him with some very narrow minded questioning (like 3rd party, or would you support a another candidate), and Ron Paul spins it right back to them...........
I'm dying laughing: CBS - What are you going to say on Leno?
Ron Paul - I guess I'll wait and listen to the question. Where do they get these reporters?!?

the Democrats are all neo-cons to a large degree...
Besides, the Democrats are all neo-cons to a large degree. None of them are saying the troops ought to be home before 2013. They are not willing to take these options off the table. And I do not think they offer an alternative one bit. I think foreign policy will not change with the top three or four or even five of the Democratic candidates.
Never in any election has it been more apparent that the differences between Democrats and Republicans is very slight. That those labels are irrelevant.

Obama/Clinton supporters in a trance?
When will these 'supporters' get the message...perhaps the left does have a large 'empire or bust' wing? Obama has a large Meetup contingent, what the heck do those people talk about at their meetings? But I know RP has a very low name recognition - that's about to change shortly.
I suppose for them it's all about getting someone in with a (D) next to their name right now.
imo it is a great interview
Even though they asked him those 2 goofy questions about supporting a pro-war candidate (duh) or running as an independent it didn't use up his time like the tv interviews. He was given a chance to explain his positions. Older Americans should vote for him in droves if they really understood his positions. The media wants to cast this shadow like he will take away their Social Security that they paid into for decades but he is the only one who tries to defend that fund.
Amen!
Right on, let's the young people vote and the "older" people vote.
...
It's a news article. But its not great.
imo anyway.
