David Gay for U.S. Congress 2008!
To My Fellow True Conservatives,
I am in a race against the clock to raise more than my fellow Republican candidates by May, 1st. It has been made clear in our committee meetings, that the candidate who raises the most money will be the one to receive the endorsement on that date. Right now we're all on an even playing field, and have all raised the same amount of money. I depend on all of you to give me a push that these establishment candidates won't see coming.
With Congressman Jim Walsh retiring, there is a very good chance I will receive the Republican endorsement for U.S. Congress this election season, without even having to go through a primary!

I don't know. He might be a great guy. But on his video, he doesn't say anything I haven't heard before. If Dr. Paul openly endorses him or if David Gay says more substantive things, then I might contribute.
He says reduce taxes. That says nothing to me. I am not for reducing taxes. I want to hear him say something that when he gets elected and then if he goes back on his campaign promises, it will stick out like a sore thumb. I want to hear him say, I am a strict constitutionalist and will NOT vote against it. I want to work to get rid of the Federal Reserve and income tax. He is just too vague for my taste. But he is cute.

On the grasroots website, he recruited 107 precinct captains. I agree, his website needs some work. But he seems like a good guy.

He is totally a Ron Paul guy then? That makes a huge difference. Thanks for that information. I'll make a contribution. That gives me the confidence I was seeking-although I would still like to hear him say -no income tax-but I guess he is trying to get elected. Then he can say what he has to say, maybe, or at least vote how he has to vote.
