The neocons may yet get their war on Iran.

Ever since President Nouri al-Maliki ordered the attacks in Basra on the Mahdi Army, Gen. David Petraeus has been laying the predicate for U.S. air strikes on Iran and a wider war in the Middle East.

Iran, Petraeus told the Senate Armed Services Committee, has "fueled the recent violence in a particularly damaging way through its lethal support of the special groups."

These "special groups" are "funded, trained, armed and directed by Iran's Quds Force with help from Lebanese Hezbollah. It was these groups that launched Iranian rockets and mortar rounds at Iraq's seat of government (the Green Zone) ... causing loss of innocent life and fear in the capital."

Is the Iranian government aware of this – and behind it?

"President Ahmadinejad and other Iranian leaders" promised to end their "support for the special groups," said the general, but the "nefarious activities of the Quds force have continued."

They'll be an attack on our

They'll be an attack on our 'fatherland' before we go into Iran. We need all the shepple to wave all of their Chinese made USA flags like morons as we send more of our country's future to die in another unneeded war.

Buchanan is a strange fish.

He argues that an attack against Iran is imminent
(as he did last year saying that it was highly likely Iran would be attacked by the Fall of 2007) yet he believes the US can not withdraw from Iraq because it would be a 'defeat for the US' (McLaughlin Group, April 11, 2008) .

Perhaps in his heart he really believes in an imperial America.

I think the drums are beating louder !

There is a video on CNN.com that just came on called "insurgent missile strike ends in a black flash", I tried to link it but not able to. Anyway, the reporter is saying our Military is very concerned because there are insurgents now getting training and weapons from Iran(hmm, all of a sudden). Then is show a drone overhead tracking 5 figures in the street, while she is explaining the 6? insurgents that have these weapons from Iran are on target from plane above them controlling the drone. The next thing you see is a black blast. Maybe someone can get the video here. I don't know how they were able to tell who these people were before they were blasted into oblivion.

They were wrong or lied about 9/11 and Iraq, but this is true?

They were either wrong or they lied about who attacked us on 9/11...their reason to attack Afghanistan.

They were either wrong or they lied about having proof of Saddam ties to al Queda...their reason to attack Iraq.

They were either wrong or they lied about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction...another reason to attack Iraq.

Now, they say Iran is funding, training, arming, and directing terrorist groups...so they can justify attacking Iran.

Why should anyone believe them?

Because

Because Iran hates our freedom and anyone who questions this also hates our freedom. And all true Americans hate anyone who hates our freedom. Freedom and hatred. Hatred and freedom. You cannot have one without the other. If you want freedom, you must embrace hatred. If you will not embrace hatred of those who hate our freedom, then YOU also hate our freedom and you will lose your freedom. We now return you to American Idol, already in progress.

If Bush Bombs Iran

Muqtada al Sadr, and not the US, is now running the show now in Iraq. There will be democracy in Iraq when the Shiites and Sunnis agree to it and not a second before. Bush is staying in Iraq because the Israelis – AIPAC and the Neocons want the US there. The Israelis want the US to attack Iran from Iraq. They also want Syria attacked

If Bush orders an attack on Iran, the military will say: What do you expect us to fight with?

If Bush bombs Iran and the Iranian army attacks us in Iraq it could be a catastrophic Custer’s Last Stand for the US army.

Iran can put 6,000,000 soldiers on a battlefield. Syria can put 2,000,000. There are 50,000 Iranian commandos and 60,000 Shiite fighters ready to attack the US army in Iraq if Bush attacks Iran.

Hopefully the generals will not go along with this madness.

However, Bush might try to force the situation.

I wish Ron Paul would speak up more forcefully.

The Oil Strategy is to Control and Hold

The Oil Strategy is to Control and Hold until the price goes higher, then they will release it just as slowly as possilble to keep the world economies going and yet maximize profits per barrell.

I Repeat

In God We Trust!

George Bush and ALL his gang will fall at least 110 stories deeper into hell than Hitler and his gang or Sadaam and his gang.

Soon I hope!

What has Bush got to lose?

It's pretty well accepted that we've got a mess on our hands in Iraq. Bush probably thought, and thought wrong, that we could go into Iraq, mop the floor with Sadam, install our puppets, and start pumping oil for the neocon cronnies....Mission Accomplished! Well, that hasn't quite happened, but hey, to these people, what are a few years, when you're talking about billions of oil....that Bush & Co. are now sitting on..........and they're not going anywhere. Just because me and you, and 65% of all other Americans, and probably 90% of the rest of the world, would like to see us leave the area.....it ain't going to happen with Bush, McCain, Clinton, or O' Bama in control. Instead of admitting a flawed attempt to control the area, why not kick it up a notch or two with Iran, to create another boggey man. American's are so easily swayed. All they have to do is stand a service man up next to a flag and point at the "bad guys", and you either salute him, or you're a terrorist. We've been had. We have no say in matters, anymore. Neither does Congress, for whatever that matters. That's just become a cesspool of bought off whores. Except our man RP, but he's not appreciated at all.

And it's

And it's one, two, three
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me I don't give a damn
Next stop is Iran

And it's five, six, seven
Open up those pearly gates
Well there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee, we're all gonna die

I read an article a while

I read an article a while back, I think it was on Yahoo, which touched upon military readiness in regards to Iran. The article stated that the US military is ready at a moments notice to hit 10,000 strategic targets in Iran over a 3 hour period.

Just thought I would mention that...

...

having been in the army and

having been in the army and served in Iraq i can say this with the utmost certainty. Petraeus doesn't know rat shit from rice krispies.

does anyone remember the childhood game where you whisper something in one person's ear and they pass it along? well that's how the military works. some dumbass lt. doesn't want to tell his captain that nothing is working, the Iraqis hate us and we'd be better off leaving immediately. so instead they tell them they see slight improvements. then the captains go and talk to majors and lt. colonels. the same bullshit information gets passed on to them with some added bs. then the lt. colonels talk to the colonels. then they in turn go and talk to generals and by the time it reaches Petraeus it's a mess.

our military is a joke. nothing works like it's supposed to. if it does work nobody knows how to use the damn thing. everyone is so pissed off it's hard to think straight. and you have idiots like Petraeus running around with every shiny piece of tin they can get a hold of stuck to their uniforms so they look important. officers for the most part care about one thing and one thing only. getting more shiny stuff on their uniforms. they don't care how many enlisted men they have to get killed to get that shiny thing either.

No matter who you vote for, the government always gets in - Bill Hicks

Wow

That is complete fucking bullshit on their part. This is absolutely not ok.

"Conservative" Tshirts

Did anyone see that ad on WND from "Conservative T-Shirts"...

"I'd rather be water boarding"

Disgusting.

Sick!

How can any human being wear such a shirt and feel good about themselves, or feel respectable?

RP2012!

Iran, Bloody George and Hitler

In God We Trust!

George Bush and his gang will fall at least 110 stories deeper into hell than Hitler and his gang.

As for Iran and its people, we want you to know that we the people of the United States do not want any harm to come to you. We want you to live in peace. We want our so called criminal leaders to be brought before a court and tried for crimes against humanity. We want them punished to the full extent of the law for all the world to see.

Yes, George, Dick and their gang will fall at least 110 stories deeper into hell than all the Hitler gang!

They will fit in well down there!

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

Well, It seems like there is

Well, It seems like there is at least a 75% chance of some sort of "war" with Iran soon.

if it does happen, hopefully it will be a short event and not turn into a full scale invasion.

An invasion would require a draft and would probably result in heavy loss of life.

I'd go 90%

It seems like it's now a priority for the Administration to commit the US to an action there before the election. Since an air war won't do the trick, boots on the ground will follow and then we have to support our troops....making campaign promises to the contrary irrelevant rhetoric.

They will probably announce it will be very limited in duration and loss of life (and cost $2.00)

Well..

.. on the positive side when we attack Iran they will greet us with flowers and we can use their oil to pay for the attack.

Just like they told us it would go down in Iraq...

right on pat!

right on pat!

Ron Paul knows what they are

Ron Paul knows what they are up to, that's why he asked the questions he did yesterday. Cheney wants action on Iran before he's out of office.

I just finished reading this

I just finished reading this off of Drudge. Petraeus is sickening. And you just know McCain is practically frothing at the mouth to become POTUS and start lobbing bombs at Iran.
