Submitted by tog2476 on Fri, 04/18/2008 - 00:34When you run for mayor, I think one of the most important things you can do is to humanize yourself. Make it a point to mention mistakes you have made in your life to your people as well as your successes. I think now more than ever people will be more responsive to you if they know you can screw up sometimes. People I think are finally ready for the truth, the sad part is most people won't search for it, you have to bring it to them. I think if you let your people know hey I might make a mistake now and then, but I will always have your best interests in mind behind the mistakes and the achievements, that they will respond positively. People are sick of the bs politicians trying to make themselves infallible. I am sorry everyone that I posted this as a thread, but he has no contact options. He is on our forum and he is running for mayor where he lives to further the revolution. Good Luck Jack!! Keep up the great work.
