More CONVENTION Trickery!

This fiasco happened in TexASS (That play on words is intended for those running this JOKE!)

Here is the video.

Now I know many are trying and many have succeeded in infitrating these conventions but the fact remains that they are PRIVATE parties. Thus, if they do not want you there or do not want to acknowledge your presencce... they can do it!

RP must be invited to St. Paul. I am not sure that invitation has been or ever will be extended.

These are very troubling times and who knows what the future holds. We must remain on the offense and do whatever we can to bring MORE attention to our plight.

Lets hope and keep trying. That is what is required of us. But do not become dismayed when this happens to you in your state. Do not be SURPRISED! It WILL happen at times. Giving up is NOT an option. However, we must not allow anger to take root and cause us to go astray. PRESS ON!

GOOD LUCK!

Sincerely,
the PEACEFUL GW

This may be a strange question, BUT...

...who are the GOP superdelegates, and is Dr. Paul one of them?

There are none

There are no "Super Delegates" for the GOP. That is part of the Democrat process, not the republican process.

well, they might not call them that

Fortune Favors the Bold

but there are party insiders who are automatic delegates from some states

he defintetly isn't

they are appointed before hand by the state parties. They are hardcore party loyalists, and will surely vote for McCain

It used to be that Presidential candidates

never attended the conventions (considered tacky). Lincoln didn't--look it up. If Ron is not invited, we must be sure get a well known conservative to represent him at the convention. Any suggestions?

Bottom Line

If you have the numbers, you can do what you want.

For each person who has read this thread, have you become a PC?
Have you attended a county central committee meeting? If so, when was the last one? If not, when is your next upcoming one?
Have you run for county central committee?
What effort are you undertaking in your county to recruit and place PCs and/or county central committee members?

Were you a sign waver or a precinct walker? Now, you know.

Digg this up!

It needs to get preached beyond the choir! The message needs to get out there. Even non-Paul supporters will see the "wrongness" of what's going on with audio/video like this. It is the proof against claims that Paul's movement is being suppressed

my 2 cents....

So it appears to me that this kind of thing keeps happening.....
I believe that there is only one way we are going to be able to counter this.....

1- a person who will remain "uninvolved" should keep the camera.
2- what sounded like a huge group of RP supporters, after total proof that they were being ignored..should have calmly stood up and surrounded the perimeter of the room. No one gets in or out. I'm NOT saying be violent....just surround the inside of the room. It would instantly make everyone notice and be uncomfortable.
At this point one of two things would happen.....
a- the Chairman would ask what was going on...there by forcing him to acknowledge someone and have to hear them calmly state that he broke Robert's rules.
b- the Police would be called to clear the room...and since no violence happened no arrests could be made.....but the beauty of this would be that it all would be caught on film and hopefully could be turned in to local news..or at the very least be used in our defense cases when we do eventually have to do something else.

They got one thing wrong

They can't trick us into getting into World War III. We know that's what they want.

You said they are a private party.

As Republicans and delegates
aren't we members of the party?

Yes..

.. Ron Paul people are tentatively members of the GOP but we are the minority so we have to play nice if we want to build a coalition in the future and gain the majority (which is Dr. Paul's plan).

Political parties are all about building coalitions. That's how political parties work.

I simply relayed a fact.

We have been ignored and in some cases thrown out with virtually no legal recourse. I attended my Republican County convention and it was nothing less than a good ole boys meeting. A joke.

This is not to say that we should stop trying. The more we do the better. We could be changing minds for the long haul even if we do not get the short term fix. Just do not get down if you encounter such treachery. That's all I am saying.

It is good to befriend county chairpersons. In NJ they can simply CHOOSE the party's nominee on the county level and give better ballot positioning to favored candidates. They also use the popularity of state senators to sway the rest of the godd ole boys... and girls.

I'm just takin a little breather right now. Soon, I will be at it again. Promoting fights and getting the message out. That is my job.

Get involved in local politics as well. RUN FOR TOWN COUNCIL. The regular voters will get to know you there and the message can get out from there as well.

TexASS

I am a state delegate for Texas. I will be at the convention fighting for our freedoms and we are forming cohesive plans to utilize the rules to effect change. We will be there in force. I met up with about 20 other delegates here in Houston and we are formulating our plans and will have many mock conventions to get ourselves together and be there to back each other up. I don't care if it is a private party, this is the fate of the country we are discussing not who is the easiest prom queen to lay.

Cool.

Be sure to bring a recorder and document the event so that it can be shared and learned from.

It is easy to simply dismiss the PRIVATE party statement. But it is TRUE. These are not federal elections. Only nominations to the PRIVATE parties that RULE us.
