for Ron Paul. MO law will not let a canidate who has lost a primary to be a write in canidate. Depending on how the national convention goes, MO needs to have this law abolished, start calling MO congress, SOS, Gov. now in case we need it.

Yep, i figured as much. This
Yep, i figured as much. This is why I said that write-in is just posturing. If we cannot secure the nomination than the best we can hope for is VP or other cabinet post.
Keep shaking the tree, we need plan B and plan B needs to be bringing in capitol. I'm sure plenty a pundit will say it's too late and they may be right. But the way I see there is no alternative. We have until the end of May to formulate a working Plan B.

No write-ins in SC too.

Nope. Not so.
Go read your link. At the Presidential level you are voting for Electors to the Eletoral College, not the candidate itself. Therefore he can. I believe that was covered elsewhere in the past here.
However, according to that link, he has to file as a write-in with a running mate. That could prevent it from happenning in MO.
How do you read this?
If a candidate files for nomination to an office and is not nominated at a primary election, that candidate cannot file a declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate for the same office at the general election. (Section 115.453(4) RSMo)
It sounds like to me Ron Paul won't be able to use a write in, if we must.
i wonder if the vote counts
if you cut your finger, and write "Ron Paul" in blood across the screen of the diebold machine.

That sucks, because our State Code says a 3rd party is out, same kind of wording. If you run on the primary ballot and do not get the nomination, you can't run third party or independant at the general election.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
