We are raising funds to add a banner on the website of the New Hampshire Union Leader. We will try to be positioned on the markee. This banner will link people directly to www.ronpaul2008.com. Ron Paul is running radio and tv ads to raise awareness.
Each ad we run will help his marketing mix and build key name recognition that is much needed. Each new click could mean a possible supporter and possible source of donations.

Something to mention
If this is going in a union paper you should probably mention that he is against NAFTA, CAFTA, NAU and the like. That usually get's union guys attention.
No not a 'union' paper
This is NOT a 'union' paper. The name of the paper is the Manchester Union Leader and it USED to be the state's biggest and most conservative paper, before it was taken over by the congolmerates after Nackey and William Loeb passed on. If Nackey were alive today, she would no doubt be endorsing Ron Paul. I have a feeling this paper will endorse Giuliani.
As with most papers, paid subscriptions are down and I have even personally told them that as long as they bashed Ron out of the starting gate, I would no longer be taking the paper. The online version is here:

The Goal Of This Ad
The goal of this ad is to help Ron Paul in the key state of New Hampshire. We feel that we can add to the marketing mix of television and radio that Ron Paul is doing.
This banner ad allows reader of the online newspaper to click on the banner and be taken right to the Ron Paul website.
Even if someone does not click on the ad, we will have RP picture be seen, and this build name recognition and the next time that person hears RP name they will be more familiar and hopefully a little more interested.
New Hampshire is a must for Ron Paul. Once this ad is successfully funded, we will then move to other papers in New Hampshire.

Hi Steve,
I've discovered that the chip in widgets cache in your browser and refuse to update no matter how many times you press refresh. If you empty your cache and reload the page the new total should update pretty quickly

It is there now. From our experience sometimes it takes 3-4 hours to refresh and for e-checks 3-4 days.

What we are going to do
New Hampshire looks like the most winnable early primary state for Ron Paul. Currently he is running a series of five tv ads and also mixing in some radion.
Operation NH is running print and trying to get money for commercials that will air later. I decided to sponsor three quarter pages ads in the Concord Monitor with a little help from another sponsor. The ads will run Saturday, Thursday, and Friday.
Our plan, is to get in the nooks and cranny's where the campaign is not reaching in the state.
One of those place is online ads. Many people read the paper online now. We are designing ads to run in NH papers based on the demographics and type of voters that are in the state.
Our ads link people right to the www.ronpaul2008.com site. We will be link possible interested people with the site, as well as building name recogniton for Ron Paul.
Once we get this ad going, we will go after the next major paper in the state with an online plan.
New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina, and Nevada are the first primary's. Can you imagine what a buzz RP will have if he can take New Hampshire.
