Good

If only more countries would say the same. Unfortunately, so many are sucking on the teats of America - they wouldn't want that obedience $ shut off now would they?

Yowza..

Put that in your pipe and smoke it neo-cons. I just want to say that if we spent 3 trillion on development of alternate energy sources we wouldn't need oil. Life styles would have to change for alot of americans but I don't think many here on this site would mind.

We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?

Nice.......

"India and Iran are ancient civilizations whose relations span centuries," the Foreign Ministry said in statement Tuesday. "Neither country needs any guidance on the future conduct of bilateral relations."

I, for one, would probably

I, for one, would probably welcome those changes to which you refer. The mindlessly shallow, mass-consumption, "too much is never enough", live-for-today-and-to-hell-with-tomorrow mentality of most Americans nowadays makes me sick, and continually makes me feel like I am living in an episode of the "Twilight Zone".

Minding our own business

is not just a Dr. Paul proverb.

Its also an age old tactic for getting along with people.

You are damn right the pipeline is the real problem here. They are talking about moving black gold around without the Empire of the United States of America getting a huge taste of the action.

Now, we just have to figure out a way to sell bombing them. These are all brown people, so Americans will definitely be receptive.

"India tartly dismissed

"India tartly dismissed American advice that it press Iran to give up its nuclear program, saying it does not need "any guidance" on foreign relations."

Very interesting development...

...

Wish more countries would

This was in the Qatari news yesterday, I'm guessing that certain Gulf States feel some what sympathethic to the Indian position here. The article that I saw included a comment stating that India does not want to see anymore of its neighbors with nuclear weapons capabilities but they still don't want Washington to tell them what to say and do.

Hmmm

Mees thinks its not so much about the nukes, its about the oil and the pipeline to Iran. We cant have anyone trading oil for anything besides the dollar. We are toast.

and soon

there will be more countries doing that.
