He made a second book called "The secret history of the American Empire" which is really good. It talks about a lot of current events thats going on around the world today.

was made into a movie? I didn't know that. When I read "Confessions of an Economic Hitman" the thing that jumped off the page and hit me in the face was John Perkins's (the author) explicit statement his activities would not have been possible at all if the dollar had been kept on the gold standard.

They are lectures by Perkins himself
