Be Careful what you say when buying ammo at Walmart...

Well, get this. Walmart has an unconstitutional ammo-buying policy. Yes, that is right, kids, if you buy ammo at Walmart they will ask you what you want it for! They do not accept "my gun" as an answer. If you happen to say you want it for "self defense" they WILL NOT sell it to you! It is their policy to not sell ammunition if anyone mentions anything about shooting anyone. Just make sure your answer is something to the tune of : target practice, rat killing, squirrel shooting, etc. Tell them you need to kill an elephant who is ruining your garden--a lion who is after your chickens..a rabid zebra terrorizing your children. But do NOT say self defense nor protection. Store policy.
Thank goodness I got a decent sales person who angrily stated "do not say another word". Then bespoke the policy. Then sold me the ammo.

WalMart Ammo

Why are you shopping at WalMart in the first place? When they drive all the mom and pop stores out of business and they are the only place left to shop they will charge whatever they want. New World Order Mart! Boycott them!!

I order my ammo

over the internet - usually through J&G Sales - http://www.jgsales.com/ - It is easy to do. Just send them a copy of your driver's license along with a written statement that there are no Federal or local laws that prohibit you purchasing ammunition and make your order. It's easy for me as I hold what is called a C&R License (curio and relic) that costs $30 every three years and allows me to mail order weapons classified as C&R such as the SKS, the CZ-82 and any of the main battle rifles of WWII. I just find it more convenient to buy by the thousand round case. Is my name on their list? I have no doubt. So, don't be bashful, your name probably is on it too. May as well belly up to the bar and get a good stiff drink.

I won't shop at chinamart

I won't shop at chinamart anymore.

I work in a Wal-Mart in Ohio

Hate the place. Cough. But all that I've ever seen is a register prompt asking what the ammunition is for, a handgun or rifle. I honestly don't know why, as I've never seen anyone questioned or refused a sale.

All I need to know is how old they are and then I hand them all the shells they want. Heh.

If theres a policy, I've been breaking it for years apparently.

LOL

So do what I did: Lie about it.

They ask the question because if you are buying it for a handgun, you need to be 21, whereas if its for a rifle, you only need be 18. I live in AZ.

It's just some piple-faced tool doing what his computer tells him to do. Just lie to the computer by proxy and get on with your stockpiling.
