Did Steve Parent lie about live call with RP on 4/24?

Regarding the (SPAM) posts on DP and RPF about the "live conference call with Ron Paul" on Steve Parent's Revolution Broadcasting radio station, I originally took it at face value when he indicated that there were "technical problems".

However, subsequent facts have come to light.

I noticed that Drsteveparent was put on a 7-day ban on RPF. Was that due to spamming?

Steve: No it was due to people like yourself claiming i lied about it and was done without merit. There no reason even specified as to why i was banned. Bryan the owner of RPF will speak with me tomorrow via conference call about this entire situation.

Or was that due to suspected "bait-and-switch", that RP was *never* scheduled in the first place?

Steve: There was no bait and switch and it was a national conference call that Ron Paul usually Addresses personally and we were going to stream it live. I am sorry Laurie you are not in the loop on important calls and for good reason i believe.

How better to determine the *facts* than to send an e-mail to simply confirm that RP had been scheduled for an interview on 4/24 at 9 ET?

Steve: Feel free to do that and while you are at it maybe you should ask if you can be part of the next conference call and see what they tell you? I would not hold your breath though.

I received an e-mail reply indicating no knowledge of any scheduled appointment in that time frame, but that could simply have been a mistake in communication.

Steve : Please share with us this email reply as to what you were told for we would all love to see it.

So, I called RP2008 HQ and asked the same question. I was put on hold while the person asked around. No one at HQ knew a thing about a speaking engagement by RP last night.

Steve: this is not for the public Laurie you must be invited to these calls therefor it would not be scheduled nor publicized to the public or atleast they shouldn't be.

Then, I called RP's Congressional office. Again, I was put on hold and again the reply was that no one there knew a thing about a speaking engagement by RP last night.

Steve: Same answer as above.

So, the big question I have now is:

Did Revolution Broadcasting CON supporters of RP on RPF and DP simply to get listeners?

Steve : Yes Laurie you nailed it! You cracked the case and our live coverage of Dr. Paul in Idaho last night was a lie as well. Not even one thank you from you dividers to revolutionbroadcasting.com for paying the expense of the hosts to get to the the Idaho rally and stream it live. I didn;t expect anything positive from you anyway so i will not start now.

And if we were lied to about that, what other lies, of commission or omission, have we been told that we haven't been able to prove, yet?

Steve: Laurie you have exposed what lies thus far? I am waiting to them.

NOTE: I have now discussed the likely harmful consequences of an attempted "coup" at the GOP national convention with all parties I have talked with via phone or via e-mail (that was forwarded to RP).

Steve: What coup? You make it seem as i am forming a cult that intends to destroy America? You give me much more credit than i deserve for i have done nothing but educate the people that wished to learn how the system actually works and show them the only way Dr. Paul can win the nomination, nothing more.

Was the "interview" that RP might have had with Steve Parent tonight actually going to be a lecture *to* Steve Parent about 1) lying about RP's "live call" that was not scheduled last night and 2) failing to discourage disruption of the GNC that could do harm to everyone involved?

Steve : It was not an interview it was a conference call and yes there is a difference.

Why has Steve Parent refused to actively discourage RP supporters about the much-discussed "coup" attempt at the RNC?

Steve: It is not my place to tell people what to do or what not to do if it is done in a NON VIOLENT and CIVIL manner, nor is it your place Laurie or anyone elses for that matter. Your claim is making the assumption that if i do not force people to quit smoking and they die of lung cancer it is my fault. I have only encouraged these people to learn the rules and change them legally NOTHING MORE!

Isn't that a huge double standard? Given the apparent lie about RP being scheduled for a live conference call, as well, does that raise any red flags for anyone else?

Here are some questions for you Laurie: You seem to be concerned about the delegates, are you a delegate? Are you part of a meetup group? Are you involved in any way with the delegates personally besides just making posts on daily paul?

You make so many claims as to what i should be doing rather than helping us educate people before we run out of time, this is where you and I differ for i am on the phone addressing meetups on rules of order so they can make the changes that need to be made legally? I am not wasting my time addressing every single response you make which is the same thing over and over again that has no merit. I believe the people here can think for themselves as to what we should be doing but what about yourself?
