I received phone calls from NV and I have spoken with several of the delegates from NV and here is where we are at!
The short versions is :
Our people were amazing and we should all be proud of them.
We dominated the convention thus caused frustration from the Mccain people which caused this illegal recess.
The chair called for a recess without a vote. This is out of order for no recess shall be allowed without a majority vote.
The chair took all of the minutes and paperwork with him without proper adjournment by the assembly.
I have reviewed the bylaws and addressed several heads from NV on the proper procedure and will address them again tomorrow morning prior to the meeting so they are prepared.
THERE CAN NOT BE A NEW MEETING IN VEGAS for this is wrong and will not happen and they are all aware of this now. The meeting must continue at the original location without exception.
This is not over and after tomorrow we will have won a great victory if our people continue to show up tomorrow.
They will reconvene tomorrow at 8:30 am.
I will also be streaming audio and video of what went on there hopefully tomorrow night for all to see and hear.
Just sit tight for i believe we should be ok tomorrow.

Legality of Convention
What do you think? Was this a fundraiser for the GOP or a political convention based upon caucus/county votes and participation and election by the public/voters. If it has been decided that John McCain is the nominee...why bother with state conventions or even the national for that matter? Fundraising? It will be a cold, cold day that I ever spend another penny with the GOP. Grand, my foot! Old, tired, repetitive and elitist...that would be more appropriate. It's the Same ol', Same ol' party in my opinion.
The party required money for us to participate in the convention and each delegate was "elected" based upon their previous participation to represent the vote of the people of our area. To shut down proceedings (recess), during a current vote being counted, without a motion for such action and a vote of agreement to recess from the full delegation, thus denying the participation for which we even had to pay.....almost looks like a form of fraudulent activity to me. I would like to demand the "count" from the votes taken for the 9 delegates, a public apology for such tactics, and confirmation immediately for the date of the reconvening of the convention in Reno. That's what I would like to see to start, but legally....what can we do? Oh, have I mentioned how disrupting it was to have a full time lawyer on the dias with the chairperson "reigning" over the proceedings? This was an utter outrage.

What is the straight story?
People are posting that they can "confirm" the GOP state convention is going on. Then others are saying it's not. Some have said it will be held in Las Vegas. What is going on? I would have followed that creep who adjourned the meeting, and not let him out of my sight to be sure not to miss out or be deliberately misinformed.

The story
I heard was that the chairman was escorted out by the sergeant at arms as "he had been threatened." I do not know the truth, but I have heard from several sources I consider reliable that while people rushed the podium to ask him to reconsider the "recess" he wasn't directly "threatened." I think the action by the sergeant at arms might have been a security measure....and expedient. But, as I said, I have no direct knowledge.

My Big Question
Why are we staying in this party. This is going to happen all over the country if we are going to take majorities of delegates. Dr. Paul was just asked to be the Constitution Pary nominee. How about in June he takes a serious look at how state conventions are going. Then think real hard about it. I would be all for him jumping ship now. After hearing tactics they used, that is going to be the playbook for other state GOPs who are in trouble. Sadly it will probably work for them.

It's our party, we have to fight for it. This blatantly unfair delegate shutout by the Neocons is actually getting delegates from everywhere because of the injustice. People want to fight for what's right. When we have a majority like in Nevada, they have to concede they have no choice. That will encourage more delegates and set a precedence for the country that we aren't going away and we are taking back our party. Have you been drinking a lot of water lately that fluoride is making you docile.

I'm a little confused, why didn't we continue with the vote for the last 22 delegates?
I'm poor at math, but I come up with a total of 29 delegates for RP. Is this right? Do we have to wait? If so, why?

You have to give credit
to Mike Weber! Without his guidance, we would have been lost. And even more to his credit, he's not a Ron Paul supporter, but could not stand the railroading that was going on. He stood up for what was right! Everyone was quiet at first, until he looked at the crowd and said "I'm protecting your rights here!"
I'm absolutely impressed with this man's integrity! He's also running for assembly there locally, which he's pretty sure will never happen now. Let's not let that fall through! He's also concerned about whether or not he'll have employment come Monday morning. But, as he told a small gathering after it was all over, one day you'll have to decide if you're going to do the expedient thing, or the right thing. He said that our founders were willing to give up their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to do the right thing and felt that what he did today was minor in comparison. I happen to disagree with him on that point. I think it was pretty major and we owe him our heartfelt thanks!
