I truely take you for a true believer, but why send all those people out on the road because of pure speculation?

I spent most of the day glued to my computer for updates mostly because of JohnGault300.

When I called the hotel and the employee told me the GOP was meeting, it set off an alarm bell. We've seen secret meetings in both Texas and Missouri where the state party took extraordinary steps to disenfranchise our delegates. The Nevada State GOP changed the caucus locations multiple times before the origional result. I thought it was important to get the full story. I also saw other people posting suggesting they believed the convention would be continuing. As I said, I am sorry for the inconvenience I caused anyone, and I am very thankful to the hard working Nevada delegates for their patriotism.

What are all those people thinking in Nevada when they see these RP supporters thinking that there is a conspiracy and that there is a secret meeting?
I just think people need to make sure their posts are as accurate as possible.
On your GOP two day post, you posted a link that didn't say anything about the gop having the room for two days.
Let us all try to be a little more careful.
God forbid, but what if someone had had an accident while rushing back to the peppermill?
I know it is impossible to verify accuracy 100%, but let us all assume that the opposition has quite a few people that believe in fairness as well.
With that being the case, conspiracies are very hard to hide.
The truth will come out eventually, even in this not so democratic society. I couldn't say that a few years ago. Thank God for the internet.

I am an avid fan of Anne Rand, and probably one of the few that enjoy her non-fiction more than her fiction.
My only disappointmet is her athiest stance, however she does not discount the existance of the supernatural, she merely dismisses it as irrelevent.

Given that he already apologized, while Steve Parent did the identical thing without an apology, don't you think that both people should have the same standards applied to their information?

For the record, what just happened in Reno is exactly what I was predicting for the national convention.
My bets are that the national GOP will manage to do something to eliminate all of the RP delegates from participating at the national convention at all.
And as many people have posted, the national GOP is a "private party" with no accountability.

wow...How can you say that? The good folks in Nevada did everything they were supposed to, did everything right, stood up for what is right and true as well as from what I can tell by all the posts and videos, acted respectfully and graciously and knowledgeably (at least until they realized they were being defrauded). How can you say this was in any way at all their fault?
All of us were trying our best to help out and stay on top of what was going on. (I ended up canceling absolutely everything I had planned today and spent much of my time trying to help keep an eye out for info.) I completely understand overzealousness in this picture because honestly, Ron Paul is our ONLY hope and only by standing united will we be able to make the impact we Need to make.
Also, this forum is entitled John Galt, not SGP so why is the reference to SGP being repeatedly thrown in?
Furthermore, the GOP being a "private property" does not give them the right to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud, so yes, they can be held accountable for these crimes.
Finally, I have been coming here off and on since last September. I have never seen John Galt do or post anything that appeared harmful, intentionally or otherwise, to this truth and freedom movement. The name John Galt comes from a special place....are you familiar with it?

My concerns are that the *media* will portray the RP delegates as the ones being at fault.
I was surprised to see it happen *before* the national convention.
Now, all remaining state meetings and the national convention will know how to prepare, as well.
See what kind of higher brick walls will exist now. RP supporters are not the only ones who "learned lessons" this weekend-
One hypothesis on RPF is that the NV GOP may not send any delegates.
If that happens, I believe the national GOP can "pick who they want" per their *rules* (if I am recalling correctly and the poster knew the rules).
So, RP could still end up with zero delegates from NV.
Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.

I was typing and the message sent itself. Anyway as I was saying your one brave woman to post something based on research and no concrete evidence. Yes I know you provided some stuff but for many of us I think it has to be more. Like him getting caught red-handed. or his true identity discovered. I don't know its just to soon to tell. It would appear that delegates were much more likely to have "attended" the reconvened convention that didn't happen Sunday due to Steve Parent's (incorrect) information than due to JohnGalt300.
I believe Steve Parent owes JG a public apology, because JG was doing his job and, obviously, had correct information, while Steve Parent's information was wrong.
JohnGalt300 already apologized.
Now, Steve Parent needs to publicly apologize for his publicly posted insult to a key player in the campaign, as well, to maintain what little credibility his word has left.
How many delegates showed up early Sunday morning, because they mistakenly believed Steve Parent's information was more reliable than JG's e-mail?
Did Steve Parent help or harm the movement with his thread?
NOTE: Please see the e-mail copy in Steve Parent's post. Why does it reference Department of Homeland Security in English and in cyrillic (Russian??)?
