Meetup group Press Release help

Someone somewhere posted what we thought was a great idea... to have the meetup groups meet on Nov 5 and have everyone donate. We've decided to take that idea and run with it, and of course, to try and get us some good local news coverage.

While we have members who are experienced in writing releases, what I'm looking for are a few other facts that we can add in. Some ideas we had were to list some other cities that are doing this (other than just saying its happening everywhere) and other facts about the fund raising in general (I think we have all of that, but anyone that might think of something else, it would be great)

BTW, our group is number 74, in Allentown, PA
