Now THAT is a
political advertisement baby! Get to the Issues WITHOUT attacking your opponents for 30 seconds. Perfecto!

Dr. Paul's speaking
There's something about hearing the words from the horses mouth so to speak that makes a powerful impression. You can just tell he MEANS what he says, so unlike others.
Thank You Campaign Staff!
Thank you for putting this 2nd ad out so quickly, and thus diffusing the uproar from the 1st ad!
I'm so happy to see that the comments about this new ad have been VERY positive, and the few constructive criticisms have been positive as well. Clearly the 2nd ad is much better in the minds of most Ron Paul supporters (by far), but we all realize that nothing is ever perfect, and there is always room for improvement.
I'm especially pleased with these comments on ways to improve future ads:
"Orat" & "phatcows" - "find some place to flash his honest smile."
"ChrisS" - "cover more of what he stands for..." (There's not much you can cram into 25 sec. - but we can expect to see more in future ads.)
"ElKabong61" - "goes without saying..." (Does that stupid law really apply when the candidate is making his own ad? Absurd! - But possible.)
"ocean" - tacky "bumper sticker" observation, and the suggestion for clear white textual highlights
And to everyone else that has made (and will make) positive and constructive feedback: THANK YOU. I believe that these comments from Ron Paul's activist base really do help the campaign.
I'm hillbillybruce, and I approve of this new ad! :)
It Goes Without Saying...
...that he's Ron Paul and since he's been reading the entire script, ONE WOULD ASSUME he approves of this message!! It's a shame that this MAJOR improvement ends on a bit of an odd note.
Still, I like the "tan-looking" Ron Paul much better than the washed-out ghost-like Ron Paul we've seen in so many numerous pictures.
Keep up the good work, Ron! You run a really clean campaign.
I'm ElKabong61 and I approved of this Comment.

Is is just me...
I can hardly watch Ron Paul videos these days without getting choked up from pride and joy at the message. There is hope for America!
"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that." — Alan Greenspan
Better, but he needs to
Better, but he needs to cover more of what he stands for... He should seriously consider taking sime ideas from some you tube videos. Way better than the first one though.
Live Free or Die.
Live Free or Die.
Let him smile more! People
Let him smile more! People try to paint him as "angry" or "grumpy". Show him like he really is, a smiling wise statesman.
Sweet!
great stuff! he has a solemn message which is grounded in reality, my only objection is that he needs to find some place to flash his honest smile.
Much Better
I like this one a lot better too.
It should work well in NH as well.

very, very much improved
The previous one is hokey. This one is infinitely better but still needs polishing.
The Ron Paul "bumper sticker" at the end looks especially tacky, like a graphic in a cheap commercial for used cars.
Also it might be worthwhile to include clear bright-white textual highlights of what Ron is saying for those who might be watching without audio...fading in and out with the same confident calm in Ron's voice.
It would be very helpful if we posted links to professionally made campaign ads we may appreciate the aesthetic qualities of, in threads like this, so we can all develop our critical perspectives. YouTube has many archived ads from Carter and Regan to Bush and Kerry.
Does anyone know the name of the studio responsible for this ad?
rEVOLution!
Loveolution!
They shot new stuff for ads today!
I was there, they shot some new stuff for ads up in Cheyenne, WY. There was also some great footage of his speech at the rally, on its way to YouTube.
It's all looking really good!
Love it. Love it. Love it.
Thanks Ron! We still believe!
I love it!
excellent...
What a Relief!
Thank the Lord! After the first one I thought the campaign was going down the tubes. This one's much more like it.
"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence; it is force. Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master."
I like it!
I like it!
You know what I like..
I like the smile while he is saying, "So are a lot of other people as you may have noticed." It conveys a sense of quiet confidence. The commercial is simply alright, but a 100x better than the first. That one little detail sticks out though, and I think that might sell subconciously.

Feel the honesty
We see Ron Paul for who he is.
This resonates.
Excellent !
Yay!
while the first ad was somewhat shocking, i can now see how they are most likely making all 4 ads very different in order to appeal to the widest audience. Bravo on this ad! Give em hell Ron!
Back on message
As Paul has said repeatedly, it's the message that has inspired us, and 30 second soundbites do exist for all issues (Paul himself wrote the Foreword to Liberty A-Z, Harry Browne's great book of soundbites on all the issues). This is a good start, and is the respectful way to appeal to NH voters.
Much Better
This commercial is much better than the first one. There's no reason to have anyone speak for Ron Paul when he's a great speaker who's very articulate and passionate, especially when those other people in the 1st commercial did not do RP justice.

Nice!
Lol, but for some sick reason I think I like the first one better.. haha Don't ask me why.. I think I must have enjoyed the goofy acting. :D [Take solace in that my opinion doesn't matter much] lol. Going to watch it again ;p
1,000,000 X Better!
This ad is a million times better than the first one, in my opinion.
Awesome commercial!
Awesome commercial!
very cool...
very cool... go ron!
Very Very Nice! I want to
Very Very Nice! I want to vote RON PAUL NOW! Woot!
