Cafferty Says, "Ron Paul is Annoying"

Situation Room, Monday 4-28.
Cafferty said he was "rooting for" Ron earlier in the race but now he's "annoying" and "it's over."
Well, if two-bit opinions are the order of the day, let me add, "Jack Cafferty, you are a jackass."
»

As we used to say
Bad face time is better than no face time at all. Maybe Cafferty should interview Ron and ask him why he is still in the race? I'm sure the good doctor would be happy to splain it to him. The patient is still sick and the doctor won't quit.
Not worth a response to
What is "annoying"? Someone is willing to stick their neck out to reinstate our Constitutional Republic so your children do not go to die for a madeup war, so you are not taxed to death for an illegal Federal Reserve Bank, and your rights are returned from being a complete police state? Our Earth, and it's plants and animals have the continued right to live within a structure that is not contaminated, and subjucated on a reality only base on profits--I could go on and on--but wait you think you are one of the elite factions that will be outside the hell these planers have in store for us---the joke will be on you--as you will readily be dismissed as "annoying". How dare you make light of a man of the intregity, honesty, patriotism and vision of our future like Ron Paul when everyone of you should be celebrating and shouting far and wide his message. The joke will be on each and every one of you that sought to discredit this man, just wait and see what the future will bring.

Dear Mr Caffery
Im really dissapointed in you. Just ruined my vacation. People like you dont deserve to even mention Ron Paul's name. Since slandering Ron Paul, lying about him and blacking him out has been the trend in the media this election season, welcome to the club. I wish you well, but Ive lost all respect for you and all interest in watching your show or your CNN.

Hello Mr. Cafferty,
I have to say that I was shocked to hear you say that Ron Paul is "annoying"... I completely disagree with you. In my opinion, McCain, Clinton, and Obama are way more "annoying" than Dr. Paul. Ron Paul is the only candidate talking about getting us out of Iraq immediately, shrinking the size of the Federal Government, and restoring our liberties. I suggest you read his newly released book, so you can understand why Ron Paul has millions of die hard, pro-peace, patriotic supporters.

This nearly broke my heart
Jack Cafferty has long been a sole voice of reason in the media, and I love the way his segment allows every-day people to discuss the biggest issues of the times. It just hurt to see this last once-journalist fall to the bandwagon. I wish one, just ONE journalist in this country could have the BALLS to speak truth, just ONE. i thought we had olbermann, i wanted it from Jack, but they've all fallen and failed, bought by their corporate masters. I'll probly tear up a little later, wishing for what might have been, but tomorrow it'll be back to work. We are not sheep, we do not give up. Not ever. My email:
To Mr. Cafferty,
I can imagine that you have received a lot of mail recently about your referring to Ron Paul as "annoying." Many of my fellow Paul supporters were angry, even incensed that you would sound off such a betrayal. I'm not angry with you Mr. Cafferty, just truly dissapointed.
You've been, up until now, one of (if not the only) main stream reporter I could look to for an honest assessment of the going's on. Your segment allows every-day people to weigh in on the biggest subjects and you don't hold back your punches, that is to be admired, especially given that you are more than likely under heavy and direct pressure to be more friendly to the establishment.
However, you've done now what all the worst are guilty of doing, you've flip-flopped your own opinions to stay on the bandwagon. In a time of corruption and lies, the man who tells the truth is truly revolutionary. I'm sure Britain looked upon the founding fathers of this nation as "annoying" as well, but that could not stop their revolution for freedom.
But I digress, you already know your history and likely better than I, which is why it saddens me so to see someone who has, for a while now, supported the revolutionary ideas of Dr. Paul and the rest of us turn coat and brush him aside. I couldn't believe it honestly. The entire power of a revolution comes from citizens who don't give up, who don't pull back just because they're outnumbered, outgunned. Even though the tables have been heavily set against us, even though the body politic does all it can to turn us away and ignore what we're trying to achieve, you should have known that we would never stop trying. Even after November Ron is not going away, and neither are we Jack. We are going away from your program now though, and that saddens me.
The one thing we truly lack as a movement is a courageous journalist who would stand up against overwhelming opposition and speak the truth of the constitution and our movement, to tell the world and the others in the U.S. what we're doing on THIER behalf. We have all worked so hard to restore freedom and real values to this country, and I have all along been touting you as a solitary voice of reason among an otherwise bought-and-paid-for media. I don't think I can say that anymore Mr. Cafferty.
I'll leave you with one final thought to consider on your comments sir. Remember this, it is the DUTY of Ron Paul to represent the people who support him, just as it is of all politicians. He stays in this race only because we the people demand it of him and he, having more honor and dignity than the rest, stands by his word and duty against all opposition. To blame him for remaining in the race is to blame all those who support him, whether they democrat, republican or any other affiliation or lack thereof, for demanding their voices be heard as is their contsitutional right.
Lastly, in my humble opinion, I could never shut up and fall in line just because it would annoy the powers that be. I am not a sheep Mr. Cafferty, is that what you would have me be?
Sincerely,
James Ruggeri

MSM voices
Your disappointment with Cafferty is understandable, but it just goes to show that the old playbook still works. Ever hear of "good cop-bad cop"?
The corporate-controlled news uses this extensively. It projects an aura of debate and even-handedness through its use of shills strategically placed on talk, news and comment shows, to give us the impression that everything isn't pre-ordained. John Stewart, Keith Olbermann and Bill Maher are cases in point. Hip, warm and sassy, these smooth operators keep the debate strictly limited to the agenda they're slyly pushing. They're just a sugar-coated version of the same message as the Rush Limbaughs and Bill O'Reillys of this world.
But your statement to the effect that Cafferty was your last hope comes at the cost of disregarding some honest people that still stand for truth and freedom, and have a voice. Granted there aren't many, but I can give you a couple of examples: Bill Moyers and Lou Dobbs, although the latter still has me wondering at times. Moyers, surprisingly, is on PBS, whose credibility has been in tatters, at least in my book, for a long, long time. I remember eating up everything Nova or Frontline aired, but that came to an abrupt end in the late seventies or early eighties, when I saw a one-hour Nova special defending the findings of the Warren commission. That was the end of that...
Things are a very dark gray, but they're not black. Not yet.

Jack deserves a punching in the gut...
for this. What a knob.
my email to Jack:
HA! I heard what you said Jack about Ron Paul being "annoying" and how he should just go away. Well I got news for you buddy... you're a little annoying yourself. You talked about how great Ron Paul was early on, and now, his message hasn't changed, if anything it's even better, and you want him to go away? What, did the debt magically solve itself and not tell anyone? You didn't help or speak up at all when the media went on the Ron Paul blackout. Apparently you must not have understood Dr. Paul's message. When will people realize that it's the message and principle that matter, not big talk and smiling faces. On second thought, maybe it's better you and the rest of the media didn't talk about Dr. Paul, he's much too good for you and his ideas are obviously too intellectual for you to understand. The media talking heads don't deserve to report on Ron Paul. It's like when people go to Church, sure, they go, they hear how to be better people, but then the next day they're back to their same old habits. Well not this time Jack. This time the message is going to take hold and there's nothing you can do about it. So, if you don't like it, fine, but stay out of our way.

Dear mr jackass
I can think think of nothing sadder
in American media today than how
you prop up "The Chosen Ones"
and,give no respect or credence
to such an honest and principled
candidate as DR. Ron Paul.
you wont stop Ron Paul!
He is bigger than YOU
He is bigger than US
He is A Revolution

Great smear, Jackass
Great smear, Jackass Cafferty!
Yeah, I bet those damned pesky colonial rabble-rousers like Washington, Jefferson, et al were "annoying" to the British as well.
lets
all send him a box of cleanex and a letter
Hope that comment washes down with some scotch tonight Jack...
If you are anything you portray, you will need something to ease the pain of the blasphemy you just spewed.
I for one will be writing Jackass Cafferty to let him know the importance of our fight and how sticking with it and how voting for the lesser of two evils is not an option.
I thought he got it. But as someone said, they are all the same.
O'Reilly, Olberman,Hannity,Colmes,Dobbs, doesn't matter.

cafferty is right -
it can be really, super annoying when your ideal status quo begins to crumble.
someone have a tissue they can lend the poor guy? or a violin, or something?
When did he
"root" for the good Dr? I never saw it anyway. Maybe he & I define "rooting" for in different terms.
But seriously, the media has sure spun this story.
Sean Hannity was on the radio earlier saying we RP supporters are a "cult" and we show up everywhere trying to take over this country... lol
Well I guess he's partially right. We wanna take it back from them.
I stopped watching MSM 2 months ago and I've not missed it in the slightest
Yes, Dammit, can't we all
Yes, Dammit, can't we all see that "it's over" for Ron Paul?
Just like it was "over" for Washington in 1776 at Valley Forge.
Just like it was "over" at the Alamo.
Just like it was "over" for Britain over at Dunkirk.
Just like it was "over" for the US at Pearl Harbor.
Just like it was "over" for The Afghanis when the Soviets invaded in 1979.
Just like it was "over" for Kuwait in 1990.
Just like it was "over" for Obama before the primaries even started.
Yep, why can't we just bow to the obvious already?
Isn't the "mainstream" ALWAYS right?
akak
I hope you sent this to Jack!
I liked Cafferty at one time
But, to be honest, I thik he's back on the sauce again. :)
