To My Fellow Ron Paul Supporters Accross America,

The GOP has made it clear that the candidate who raises the most money by May 1st will receive their endorsement at the endorsing convention on that date.

So far, none of the other candidates have raised much money, except for Bob Oaks, a career politician, who has raised almost $60,000 in pledges.

I need to beat Bob Oaks and all the others by having CASH ON HAND, not just pledges, in my campaign fund by next Wednesday. So far, I only have around $2,000.

It has been difficult getting everyone fired up about this campaign, but let me assure you I can win this, and Ron Paul will have another vote on his side in the House of Representatives.

You can certainly say what you like. However, if you really want everyone to listen then you better be considerate of their feelings and how they feel about certain things. So, if you are going to get me to listen and respond, then have some common courtesy for what offends me. Just because in your world using these words is ok, doesn't mean it is ok in the world of a lot of people.
Again, if you lack intelligence, you resort to offensive words regarding the sexual act; if you have any intelligence, you have a better vocabulary. I believe we are all much more intelligent than most of America, so why don't we sound like it?

Do not presume to foist your made-up moral standards upon me, sir or madam. I am a free man, and shall speak or not speak whichever words I choose. A person respectful of the freedoms of others would not pass such a judgment on people simply because of their choice of words. You are a victim of the same groupthink that is destroying our Republic and our freedoms. Use your head and THINK about what you just said. are you a delegate? Are you a precinct committeeman? Please let me know. If you are, then I feel that you are doing whatever it takes to restore the republic. If not, then I believe you talk a lot and that is all.

Again, how to win friends and influence people takes into consideration their feelings regardless of what you believe. I think you need to understand that, if you are to succeed in this world. Your believing because I enjoy a more cultured society means that I am a victim of what is destroying our Republic and freedoms is really grasping and quite naive. My example is Ron Paul's example, not Dick Cheney's or John McCain's. They resort to whatever words come into their mouths to cope with a situation, Ron Paul resorts to reason and logic. Big difference.

I remember as a youg child, a saying I often heard as well as recited, went something like this, "STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES, BUT NAMES WILL NEVER HURT ME". I had the pleasure to meet this fine young man and patriot at the April 15, 2008 Freedom rally in DC. Its my opinion, the core underlying problem "we" as a race need to work towards is communication's. Understanding that we all have our unique style of addressing individual(s) and groups, the primary objective should be too infom the afformentioned with the intent of explaining you message. Not unlike the clouded one of Dr. Pauls and mine and presumably yours. Not clouded due too its contents, rather clouded by external factors. If my home was on fire and you came to my front door screaming (hot, hot, hot) or (smoke burn, burn smoke, hot smoke), though the grammatical presentation would to me sound odd. If I took the time, which I would, to decipher the gibberish and learned that my home was on fire and the message allowed me to save the lives of my loved ones, I would be grateful for this communiqué. I will end with the statement, that I've met this enthusiastic young man from the Syracuse region of NY, the morning of 4/15/2008 in Washington, DC and listened to his short though patriotic speech, later in the day. I will now go and donate $25 in his support on our behalf. His intent is my prime concern, I choose to help.

I love how people cry about foul language

Does it really do you harm? Is it physically hurting you? Or is it another piece of groupthink that's just too hard to let go of?

Really folks, people swear. Lots of them. Add useful content to the threads, not complaints of language that is only considered foul because that's how we've been programmed to think.

So the Bible says, "Thou shalt not swear." Fantastic. I've been looking and I can't find where the Bible says which words we can't say. I wonder who came up with all of those? 'Thou shalt not swear' means it's not a good idea to make promises to people. That's all. All this hubbub over language is crap, and I'm tired of hearing it. It's just another experiment in behavioral control through the potent combination of mass media and religion, and it's working.

Use your brains people. Just because 100 people say something is true does not mean that it is. This is part of what Ron Paul is teaching us. Look up his speech, 'What does freedom really mean?' and apply those lessons in other areas of your lives. This Revolution is not just about changing the names and policies of the people in power. It's about removing the people from the influence of the groupthink and brainwashing that has dominated their lives.

Think about it.

The particular writer who you are going round and round with is not 100 people (but probably does represent civil society at large) and he/she is asking you a simple thing...to refrain from using profanity (vulgar or irreverent speech or action). You would be wise NOT to take it on as a challenge to overcome or a "free-speech issue" to force down other's throats...just recognize it for what it is: an individual telling you that he/she finds something offensive and would you kindly stop? Just like asking that person talking really, really loudly on their cell phone to please be quieter, or the kid kicking the back of your seat on an airplane (intentionally) to please stop. When you respond, this is called being civil and thoughtful of others. Anything short of that comes off as pure, immature, selfish, "I'll show you" behavior. I am sure you both have something more worthwhile to contribute to this site so now I am asking both of you to please stop.
