JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR!!! This is a Ron Paul forum!!! I am not going to support Pastor Baldwin unless The Party elite railroad the Good Dr. This is meant to draft RP into the Constitution Party ticket incase of a disaster with the GOP elitists

I will write in Ron Paul, as I have said from the start
If Ron Paul tells me to support someone else, I will write in "Ron Paul." There is NOTHING that will get me to vote for a Pastor. Sorry, but I like my church and state much more separate than that.

"I will write in Ron Paul" is not a very brite idea considering that most likely (under the right circumstance, rather directly or indirectly) Paul WILL endorse "pastor" Baldwin......I'd bet on it..........
Baldwin is NOT trying to establish a church (god forbid).
The sad day may come when RP will not be an option. Casing your vote as a " Write In" , will only serve the purpose of making yourself feel better!! That's the sad, cold, hard fact of things.

I respect your decision -- especially as it means that you will join all of us in rejecting the current system of government by the Republicrats. We need to vote with our convictions, and if your convictions will not allow you to vote for anyone other than Ron Paul, I encourage you to stick to them. I will continue to pray for those of us fighting against lies and injustice and that the light of truth would shine down upon our nation to reveal lies and injustice for all to see.
Clarification
It should be pointed out again, and I believe that I can speak for most if not all supporters for Chuck Baldwin: Ron Paul is our first choice! Just as Chuck Baldwin himself prefers Ron Paul's candidacy and would willingly step aside should Ron Paul get the Republican nomination, I wholeheartedly support Ron Paul for President and continue to spread the message as I can.
However, it is good to promote a very solid backup plan who may very well be strong contender for VP on a Ron Paul ticket. Those who have listened to Chuck Baldwin know that his views are extremely close to those of Ron Paul. He is not LINO (Libertarian In Name Only), and he truly values the Constitution and civil liberties it protects. Especially in the face of people like Barr who are trying to steal attention away from Ron Paul (with the help of the corrupted mainstream media), we need to rally around and promote those who truly believe in Ron Paul's message of freedom.
Support Ron Paul first, but if he is unable to be on the ballot in November, consider Chuck Baldwin as a fantastic alternative.
He's not my plan B.

after RP the only other candidate worth voting for is Chuck Baldwin! PERIOD! at some point the libertarians, constitution party, and us Ron Paul republicans will have to concentrate our firepower! Chuck is the only choice.. I have no loyalty to the CP or the libertarians.. By far Chuck Baldwin is the next best choice behind Ron Paul!

Every RP supporter I talk to here in SC
is behind Baldwin if RP does not win the nomination. We are holding out for the RNC in September but being that the CP is the preferred party before RP for most of us, we were more then excited and relieved that Baldwin is our man.

I am going all the way to the convention, and if Dr. Paul doesn't get the nomination, I'm going to vote for O'Sama, Your Mama, O'Bama. Maybe then the GOP will get a clue, but I doubt it. Don't listen to $100 Mill a year Rush, he would love nothing more than HillBill to be elected, so that he can demand $200 Mill a year. Frankly, I'd like to kick his, and all of the other fraudulent conservatives' asses (Hannity, O'Reilly, etc, etc).

Baldwin is the BEST 2nd option.
This gives us an answer to those that ask... WELL... Who will you vote for if Ron Paul is not on the ticket.... We can say Baldwin of the Constitution party. That gives us a REAL option and means we will NOT throw our votes away... if they counted anyway.
It can't hurt to help these people out. I am going to volunteer and see what they need. I know they have groups in NJ.
If RP doesn't get the GOP nod and if he doesn't have the will to go third party then we have our next choice. I have read Baldwin's articles and he makes a lot of sense.

Reality Check, Dear Friends . . .
Without Baldwin and the Constitution Party, we will be stuck with McCain and probably Hillary.
Ron Paul has made it clear he is not going to run 3rd Party (I hope he changes his mind and gets endorsed by the Constitution Party and the LP, but I don't think he will.
This idea that the GOP Convention is going to turn to Ron Paul is being spread by disinfo artists -- for this will not happen unless their is a "St. Paul conversion" experience for about 90% of the GOP Delegates.
The Delegates have been already chosen from the local brain dead NeoCons. Wherever there were "elections" - the "hide the votes" computers made sure that Dr. Paul's delegates "lost" and that McCain's "won" -- whether this really happened or not in all places, we'll never know.
In the few places -- all Caucus states where we could see what was going on -- where the Ron Paul forces have rallied, the crooks running the GOP are planning to cheat us. It would literally take violence to enforce honest state conventions, that's how crooked these GOP thugs, like the despicable State Senator Bob Beers of Nevada, are.
(Beers adjourned the Nevada convention when it was clear that the Ron Paul forces were going to elect most of the delegates to the National Convention; he was escorted out by body guards, properly fearing that retaliation might come his way for the capital crime he had just committed.)
Although Baldwin will be an unknown Presidential candidate, unless he runs ads on the Big AM talk radio stations nationwide, at least I can vote for him in good conscience. I will never vote for McCain, Hillary, or Obama, all three of which are NeoCon stooges who will drag us into 50 years of war in the mideast and a police state here at home. I will not vote for the enemy.
By the way, Baldwin's comment, "When I become President of the United States the New World Order comes crashing down" -- is a direct word for word "plagiarism" from Pat Buchanan in 1996 and 2000. However, I'm sure neither Buchanan nor the Buchanan Brigades mind.

Write Ins don't count if the Candidate hasn't signed a form
If Ron Paul doesn't decide to run 3rd Party, he will not sign the write in form required in every state.
Without Dr. Paul signing that form, the law says the state doesn't have to count any write ins for him -- and they won't.
So, I understand your desire to write in Dr. Paul, but it truly will be a tree falling in a forrest with no one to hear.
Chuck Baldwin votes will at least be counted unless he gets too many, and then we can count on computer "magic" to make him look like a long distance loser everywhere. Of course, the Constitution Party has not followed a strategy that would force themselves into the public mind, i.e., radio ads on the largest AM Talk radio stations, affordable, and reaching millions right in the middle of the Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity Shows. EXACTLY what Lew Moore and Kent Snyder did not do for Ron Paul, even though they were sitting on $30 miillion raised.
I understand that was taken care of a while ago.

I respect Chuck Baldwin as a person and as an American. I will not, however, vote for the Constitution Party.
The CP is a Christian party. I have nothing against this, however, it is my feeling that many in that group love the Constitution so much they'd like to add to it.
The late Harry Browne was just quoted in Lew Rockwell, "The Constitution recognizes only three federal crimes — treason, piracy, and counterfeiting. The federal government has no Constitutional authority to deal with any other crimes."
Unfortunately, I see the Constitution Party using patriotism as a guise to promote Christian morality. Like I have said many times here, I could respect the party if it just called itself the Christian Constitution Party but it chooses not to for whatever reason. Many other countries have Christian parties, why not the US?
I am not anti-Christian. I am not anti-morals. I am, however, against using the Constitution to promote morality for the "public good". If the people of a state choose to enforce morality via their state constitution, that is their choice. I can choose to live in a state that more closely reflects my beliefs.
Until I decide otherwise, I remain loyal to Ron Paul.

Christianity and the Constitution Party
I am a Christian, but I too have wrestled with the sometimes overtly Christian message in the Constitution Party framework. Due to past bad experiences where the name of Christianity was misused, I have become wary when it enters the political sphere.
However, I have come to terms that the Constitution Party as it now stands is closer to the ideals I value than any other party. The Libertarian Party has become too anarchist in my mind, and their solidly pro-choice position runs completely against my convictions. As long as they true to their convictions of upholding the Constitution and protecting the rights of all individuals, I can and will support the Constitution Party. I have a lot of respect for Chuck Baldwin, and so I will support him if (and only if) Ron Paul does not get the nomination and is not on the ballot.

If Ron Paul does not continue in the Presidential race after the RNC I will very likely be supporting whichever candidate Ron Paul endorses - maybe that will be Baldwin.
