1996 Ron Paul Video - Same Man, Same Message

This video and blog post comes by way of Jarrod Hunt's blog - www.jarrodhunt.com

Jarrod says:

This is a great video of Ron Paul from 1996. It really is amazing how someone can be consistent for so long about their beliefs. But I guess thats what happens when your beliefs are grounded in your belief in our Constitution. Isn’t that what the Constitution was created for?

Here are some quotes that were shown in the video:

“Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force Officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need him fighting for our country.”

Ronald Reagan - Former President

“This courageous and quiet Congressman has made a worldwide name for himself as the defender of liberty in this country… a persistent fighter for the reduction of the power of bureaucrats everywhere… and one politician who cannot be bought by special interests.”

Maxwell Newton — The New York Post

“Ron Paul has a record of philisophical consistency unmatched in recent congressional history. He seeks to limit government at practically every turn. His refusal to compromise is legendary.”

-- Wall Street Journal

“I strongly support Ron Paul, We very badly need to have more representatives in the House who understand in a principled way the importance of property rights and religous freedom.”

Milton Friedman - Nobel Prize Economist

Thanks, Jarrod!

great video

that was an excellent video, it really shows he has a very tight loving family, and his history shows he can be trusted to do the job he says he will do. i'm now 45 yrs old and i have never trusted any politician till now. when i saw him on america freedom to fascism and two other documentaries about a year and a half ago i said to myself "why cant this guy run for president?" when he announced he was running, i thanked god. finally there might be hope for this country. go ron paul !

To me TRUST is by far the most important thing to have in a leader.

When I saw this video it just amazed me at how consistent Ron has been through the years. While it has taken time for me to understand all of his views, I have always "trusted" that they were his true beliefs and not just something he was saying, just to be heard.

Go Ron!
