I agree
We all know that the media thinks were a bunch of psychos, we don't want to give them evidence to support their claim do we? I think we have something that most other supporters don't, passion. And it's great when the media talks positively about Ron Pauls support and how their inboxes are constantly flooded with praise and thanks for featuring him, etc. Right now there have only been a few accusations of us being crazy obsessed threatening psychos, but if this keeps up all the positive coverage that his grassroots campaign has received will be replaced twice over by snide comments about his cult (and not the good kind) following.
I read in an earlier post that we shouldn't even bother clicking on links that lead us to anti-paul articles. I don't know much about hits or trends, or any of that but if there's a chance that we're sending these anti-paul articles to the top of search engines by the number of hits then we're working againt ourselves aren't we? There will always be people that don't like the good dr. or what he has to say and we can't change that. What we can do is not let ourselves be brought down by the negative press coverage, and continue to fight the good fight. Let's not waste our energy concentrating on how wrong everyone else is. There isn't anything wrong with us disagreeing with the other candidates, but we will just waste energy fighting with people who will NEVER change their position. We rarely see Ron Paul dissing the other candidates, so let's be like him, be the bigger person. Let's be 100% about supporting him and his message, forget everyone else. Ron Paul is DIFFERENT and he needs supporters who are too. I for one can't stand people who are pushy and preachy, as most of the other candidates supporters are. They can't push their ideas onto people and neither can we. What we can do is get out there and get excited! People that want to will come to us. Our passion is and will continue to be undeniably positive and contagious!

we need to stop writing to people so "aggressively" ron paul is a serious candidate and when we spam or send aggressive emails, it discredits US and that is when the media steps in and tries to discredit Paul. the media is great at discrediting people, its so much easier than actually learning what someone is all about. that first email example was pretty bad but i am sure there are people like that on every politicians side, we just need to not respond to the people who write those articles , lets ignore them and let then write whatever they want, its their right but lets not give them the attention that their article is the all knowing truth. lets take the higher road, i know it boils my blood too but weve got a lot going for this campaign right now. ron pauls playing in the big league now, every step must be taken with caution. How do we know
that the people who wrote the supposed "nasty responses" were Ron Paul supporters in the first place. They could be neo-cons from redstate trying to make Ron Paul look bad.

Rick Moron... opps I mean Moran... who cares.. why do you worry?? this guy is a pro paid blogger hired by one of the other candidates to dig dirt... only problem is.. there is no dirt to be dug.. these people fear Ron Paul.. he is continuing to reach the U.S. population with his message of peace, liberty, and freedom.. his campaign fundraising has more than doubled every quarter! this is because more and more people are becoming aware of Ron Paul and what he stands for.. Folks the establishment is going to start pulling all stops.. they cannot at any cost let Ron Paul become President. don't be offended.. it simply means that what we are doing is WORKING! Let's switch from defense to offense
Tired of being on the defense. Then switch to offense.
Do the homework on all other Republican candidates. Find their weaknesses. Spend time reading articles on them and then leave a powerful “offensive” comment showing their weakness.
Seems we spend a lot of time defending someone who needs no defense.
So let’s go after the ones who need to be attacked. Let’s sling some mud of our own!!
Just be sure to keep comments civilized, on point, and rational.
After all, we are Ron Paul soldiers. Ron Paul can handle the defense all by himself, so why don't we go on the attack to weaken the opposition?

Like they say: Offense is the best defense. Like wisen is saying instead of going on the defense for Ron lets go on the offense. We could do this and not even let people know we are RP supporters. So instead of going after them for saying bad things about Ron lets go after them for saying good things about the other candidates, and point out things that these candidates have said in the past and what they are saying now. Such as
rudy saying he is for the second amendment, and how in the past he was against it,but make sure you can supply the proof. Another thing do not let them know you are a RP supporter. If we do the reserach we as one can bring down the opposition.

Maybe we could start a thread for each candidate and ad real information to it each time we found new info on that particular candidate. Then we could have a library on EACH different candidate...
Example
A thread for Mitt
A thread for McCain
A thread for Rudy
etc etc...

Wyoming: How is it polling?
This blogger is nobody, and his criticism did not hit hard.
Moreover, it sounds like RP can take Wyoming.
If RP can take Wyoming in the primaries and even in the general election, that makes his ideas something serious to counter or match by the other candidates.
What bothers me...
about this story is that by posting it here, you've created a lot of publicity for it. Ron Paul certainly has his critics, and having supporters send stupid comments like the one he highlighted does not help RP in the media! We need to understand that EVERYTHING we send and/or post reflects on Ron Paul - I hope that we can be more civil when we choose to respond to these lame articles. I would rather see them ignored so that the authors can be made to feel as insignificant as they are.
Promote and reward the POSITIVE - Ignore the NEGATIVE. Ron Paul's message is strong enough to withstand it:)

I was thinking about these things yesterday...
It occured to me that Ron Paul has no skeletons in his closet. These folks are going to have to (and have) manufacture skeletons.
1. Rudy has so many its isn't funny.
2. Romney and his flip flops.
3. Thompson and his red truck, and so many more
4. Huckabee vs. the whole state of Arkansas it seems
5. Ron Paul???????????????????? Nada
Look what this guy does. He manufactures a skeleton, doesn't allow comments on the page for all to see, and then takes what is supposed Ron Paul supporters and shows us the most outlandish one's.
