Bob,
This looks really bad for the GOP if Ron Paul wins the state before many other conventions. You wouldn’t want to start a trend by allowing democracy to work. This is why you are a robot. You have no balls. The GOP is finished. You are in denial. End this by declaring all delegates to Ron Paul. Unless you resign or award all delegates to Paul, we will be on you for years to come. We’re crazy remember?
And this is still the United States of America, NOT THE USSA!

So this robot posts the following on Ron Paul supporters on Bob's stupid blog:

Dear Ron Paulers:

If you desire to win the hearts and minds of Republicans then I suggest do not try to wage a guerrila war in state conventions across the country. You guys are just pissing people off and creating an image that you are a bunch of loonies.

You should try to work toward the next election cycle. Perhaps try to win some seats in state assemblies. Hell, win a governor or senator seat to see if you can win a state wide race. Once you elect a governor then run that dude for president.

Right now, you guys are limited in your appeal. Ron Paul is still running for president. Yet, Hucklebee who dropped out months ago is still getting more votes in these recent primaries.

Lastly, do not cry about fairness. Paul only got 20% of vote in Nevada. You guys are trying to screw over the voters by getting him more than 20%. I think the voters will remember this for a long time.

Nevada is doing just fine, thank you

Steve Parent seems to have a super sized concept of the extent of his help and his ability. I would like to point out that so far, the Ron Paul movement in Nevada has done better than in any other state - and without his help. We have good leaders within the state and do not need counseling or advice from those who don't know our situation. What we do need though is some money. Please go to the link below and make a small contribution, so that we can get our story out to the general population of the state of Nevada. By the way Steve, can we count on you for $100?

When are you going to reconvene Mr.Beers? We the people are waiting and losing our patience.

Thanks for writing, Thomas.

Current plan, last I heard, was to come to an agreement with Congressman
Paul. Failing that, the party plans to send out a postcard to credentialed
delegates to gather commitments to attend a reconvening. Depending on if
that results in a hope for a quorum, we will either reconvene or vote by
mail.

This is where we are right now

The Nevada Republican convention was closed abruptly and without warning on April 26, 2008 because the voting for delegates to the National Convention was not going according to the desires of the party leadership. A number of delegates plan to insert an advertisement in our local newspaper in Las Vegas, requesting that the state party leaders reconvene the convention. The "Chip In" below is to pay for the advertisement.

http://www.nevadahomeowners.org/convention.html

Give Us Back Our Convention!
On April 26th in Reno, the Republican State Convention was abruptly and improperly recessed indefinitely on the orders of Sue Lowden, state party chairperson. Prior to the recess, and after a day of parliamentary wrangling, the delegates defeated all the plans of the party leadership to dictate the selection of delegates to the national convention. The crucial vote was 752 to 405 in favor of a plan where the delegates would be selected by the convention rather than the party leadership.
After that critical vote, an election process was put in place where 9 of the delegates would be elected by congressional district, with 3 from each district. Another 22 delegates would be elected by at large voting with that to take place after the election by congressional district. As the election proceeded, it became clear that result desired by the party leadership, which was the election of delegates favorable to John McCain, would fail. The party leadership and the John McCain campaign began searching for a way to stop what to them would be a disaster. The first attempt was to reduce the number of delegates in the hall and so force an end to the convention due to lack of a quorum. That effort failed, probably due to poor communications with the delegates. At about 6:00 p.m., the convention chairman, contrary to the rules of the convention, announced an indefinite recess without any discussion or vote on the matter. This recess hit the convention like a bomb, with strong objections from those who wished the convention to continue.

The original word from Sue Lowden was that the convention would reconvene at a later time. At this writing, more than two weeks after the convention, there is no word from the party chairman as to when, if ever, the convention will be reconvened.

As delegates to the convention, we call on the party leadership to reconvene the convention at the earliest practical time and to adhere strictly to election procedures that were adopted by the convention.

By long tradition and parliamentary rules, a political convention belongs to the delegates and not to the presiding officer of the convention or to the party leadership. Any deviation from this practice will be a bad precedent and will serve to undermine the best traditions of American government.

When you contact him, make sure he knows that we will unite to remove him from office during the next elections. We have the power to help advocate those who believes in true conservative principles. Be stern and do not talk about conspiracies and just stick the the platitude that he needs to resign.

what happens in Vegas

I guess he took that tag-line, "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" a little too literally.

Romney won but since he dropped out the states second place candidate becomes the winner, that's RP by 436 votes.

Please stop swatting at the

Please stop swatting at the hornets net with a stick at this time.

Anger and sarcasm will not help NV at this moment.

I have spoken with many heads there and helped guide them and things are under control.

When you swat at a hornets nest with a stick you are going to get stung once in a while.

I am asking not to take this path at this moment.

If you must comment make them all positive PLEASE!

Dr. Steve Parent

I can't go in to detail for

I can't go in detail for that is ill advised at this moment give the nature of the situation in NV.

Why do you want the names of the people? I have no clue who you are and i am not releasing any names.

You people do not understand how this game is played and these are the things that do not give positive results.

All i am asking is to wait until NV is resolved then you can hammer his email box for all i care but at this moment it is better not to do so for it will change nothing.

Dr. Steve Parent

You need not specify...

....I understand if you don't want to release any names, but this seems like it could be BIG news for those who are working hard in Nevada. Why should they step back and trust that you, sir, have everything under control? Could you atleast give us a general idea of what is going on and explain how exactly everything is under control?

Yes sir i can.I have spoken

Yes sir i can.

I have spoken with many meetup heads in the state and they are doing exactly what needs to be done.

You do not need to take my word for it; however, I can't go into detail of the suituation or strategy at this time.

I wish I didn't have to be vague on this issue but at this point I have no other choice.

Dr. Steve Parent

Please elaborate

SGP wrote: "I have spoken with many heads there and helped guide them and things are under control."

First question, who did you speak with (name or title) and how exactly are things now under control? I agree that we should be positive in our comments but I feel you are discouraging people from asking questions and demanding answers from Senator Beers, who broke the very rules of a process to which you are considered the expert.

Do you have an update for us bro?

What about the censoring comments on the blog?
Should Bob Beers censor posts that favor Ron Paul?
Should we wait for September and just let them walk all over us?

Update please!

I want to know how everything is under control....

My response to Jim Nance

Jim Nance,

We are not afraid to piss people off. We are afraid of letting the neo-marxist/neo-cons that are in control of the Republican party continue their “empire building” policies that are leading to the bankruptcy of America. We are afraid of the ongoing expansion of government power and control over our lives and property. We are afraid that our children’s children will be still paying in both blood and treasure for the foreign adventurism of the Bush Administration.

And, yes, we are concerned about a “presumptive nominee” date that is more liberal than some democrats and more inclined to militarism than Bush, Cheney and Bill Clinton combined. America has the strongest military in the world. We should be respectful of that awesome power and the awesome responsibility that comes with the push of a button. We should also not delude ourselves that our economic health is not being eroded by the expense of foreign military operations and commitments.

The Republican party has always been the party that faces reality. The party that is able to cast off the emotional propaganda and see clearly to the true costs of uncontrolled government spending and power. We have won elections by promising to correct the “nation building” of Democrat administrations.

We are not dreamers, crazies, newbies, or kooks. We are U.S. citizens. We are members of the Republican Party. We are not guerilla warriors creating chaos. We have studied the rules and are ready to operate within the bounds of the system. We have that right. We have the right to vigorously pursue the election of candidates that represent our views and hopes. We did not set up the caucus system. We did not create “Robert’s Rules of Order”.

The fact that we have invested the time and energy to get elected in the caucus system and learn the rules of order to pursue the nomination of a candidate that represents our views is the foundation upon which our Constitutional Republic was built. If membes of the party that support Mr. Romney or Mr. Huckabee wanted to participate in the caucus system, they have that right, they had that opportunity to be elected as delegates. Don’t blame us if they didn’t show up.

So, no, we don’t care if you get pissed off. The Republican party is not your personal play thing. It doesn’t belong to you. It doesn’t belong to Bob Beers and it certainly doesn’t belong to George Bush or John McCain. It belongs to all of us Americans that participate in the Republican process to elect leaders that represent our views.

Lastly, you admonish us for wanting the process to be fair. That isn’t a “fair” assessment. We just want the process to be conducted in accordance with the rules. We want the people that administer the process to be bound by the rules that they created.

That you would support the legitimacy of the leadership’s manipulation and disregarding of the rules in support of any one candidate is a clear demonstration of why the GOP is headed for a landslide defeat in November.

Now that’s something to be pissed about.

Holy Crap !!!

That how you tell it to those damn Neocons!!!
