I think it's pretty hilarious that they claim to be fighting "White Collar Crime." Where were they when the bailouts went through? Isn't our involvement in the Middle East, so lucrative to the military-industrial complex, a "white collar crime"?

180 degrees in ten minutes for me
Many moons ago, I had a month old baby girl in my arms when I took a phone call from my mother-in-law. My brother-in-law had just accidentally shot and killed himself. I became an "anti-gun nut" on the spot. I did not care if YOU owned one, but I would NOT have "that energy" in my home with my children.
Last December, I read the Veteran's disarmament bill. A Vet gave me about a ten minute lesson in the loss of our Consitutional rights.
My grandbaby will NEVER be left defenseless in my home... ;)
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
That is good to know.
I am glad you decided to come back to constitutional rights.
Make sure your children learn gun safety at a very young age. Don't make the mistake and try to hide it from your kids. And make it utterly important to show them that it's not a toy or something to be played with!

My grandbaby will learn many things I am now teaching my adult children. Fortunately, I never brainwashed them. We exposed them to as many sources of knowledge as we could, told them straight up "no one knows, even if they claim they do, you will find they lack true evidence" about most of the world. I may not have taught them all I could have, but at least I never willfully lied. Never. No Santa, no Easter Bunny, a loud, raucous "tooth fairy" who woke them up to be darn sure they knew I was giving them money I had earned... Seriously, we made a big joke of it. They got stockings and gifts from "Santa, who apparently stole mom's credit card" and things like that. It left them pretty open minded.
And for the record, I never objected to others owning guns. I am flaky, not pink! ;)
