OMG. Huck for VP...

0 votes

Anyone who has been on here for a few months knows how I feel about Mike Huckabee, due to his horrible (and all public record) crimes against the People of Arkansas whilst governing this state. Tonight it was on the news that he is being considered as V.P. by John McCain. I am speechless. I am aghast. This is a fact. He is the number one candidate. Be more afraid, now.

Nope

McCain will pick....

Condoleeza Rice.

The Huckster

This just goes to show that Huckabee is not, and never was a Conservative. His warmongering makes me doubt his Christian credentials.

Actually this is a good thing...

Then when they go down in flames, they will go down together and save us from having to shoot down huckster some time in the future...

Good Point.

Also anyone who will run with liberal Democrat Juan McCain is no conservative.

Juan McCain wrote the Amnesty Bill, Is Pro-Gun Control and wants a global tax on the stuff you exhale, CO2.

What's the difference?

They all suck, and if McCain, or any candidate other than Ron Paul wins the republican nomination, the next president will be a democrat. You can bet the farm on that. Calm down. Save your fears for the upcoming Clinton and/or Obama (they will probably run on a ticket together) regime.

there is no difference

there is no difference between them.. hitlery, obamanation, mccandyass...
they are ALL cut from the same cloth!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

Hey McCain-----┌П┐(◣_◢)┌П┐

I'm sure Huck is not the only one as many people are being considered for VP. He was probably being considered even before he dropped out of the race.

McCain's campaign probably has analysts who try to figure out which VP would give them the best overall support and odds of beating the Democrats.

...

eeeeexactly. if this move by

eeeeexactly. if this move by mccain is motivated by anything, its motivated by a desperate last gap measure to bridge the religious conservative vote (read: "we vote for the bible") to join up about 85-90% of the republican base under one 'united' republican banner.

my blood is truly boiling with disdain against my own country knowing that a move like this would most likely actually work. We all do know what huck was seriously considering after dropping out of the race, dont we? HOLLYWOOD!

Huck sucks

this is disturbing

If this really happens, I

If this really happens, I fear for our country. I'd sooner vote for Obama than let those dumb-asses near the White House.

the machine wants obama

the WORST thing the repubs could do is team mccain with huck- Crickett alone has enough poo on huck- imagine what the democrats will dig up. I figured out the guys a sleaze when he puts a cross in his Christmas ad (thats just fine - its christmas) but instead of defending the holiday- calls anyone who sees it a schizo and anti-christian...and before i could even finish gagging he holds a press conference to show an ad that he's pulling about romney because its wrong- but wants to show us what we would have seen if his campaign would have stooped to that level- and proceeds the stoop to the lowest level by showing it- now noone remembers what the ad said- just that he was such a slimeball ABOUT the ad. I HOPE they run him with huck- that would get people to write Ron Paul in for sure...besides- dont let the polls fool ya- hucks "army" hijacks the polls worse than we do- his supporters are just 4 college guys with a computer and the grandma that lets them live in the basement because they all go to church and dont have girls over....or so Im told.

huck or romney...

either way has it's pro's and cons as far as our effort to bring the party back to it's roots, if he chooses huck I think that will alienate the romney crowd leaving them as potential allies, if he chooses romney it will alienate all the huck supporters and again leaves a large group disenfranchised...

Romney

is considered the more conservative, right? So that really might give us his supporters. Plus Huck will group all the neocon Christians together. I am a Christian, but now I know the difference. Now I know Jewish people are not all Jewish and that is what separates Christians-or at least one major divide. Now I know the Jesuits are part of the elite and are not what God refers to as Israel in the Bible.

yes,

the problem is that some Christians do not see that after the New Testament times the Jews have dispersed all voer the world and those that returned to Israel are not 100% ethnic Jews. And - more importantly - in the New Testament it talks about the "new Israel" which is us Christians, whether Jew, Gentile etc.

Romney is considered more conservative...

and I know a number of people who preferred Paul but voted for Romney because they thought he had a better chance of winning (eye-roll), I think the Romney people would be alot more likely to come over to our side should he not get picked to be McLames VP. On the bright side, regardless of who they choose as McLames running mate, they won't be able to sink us with that alone...

Yes,

I fully agree with you. Huckabee was still going against/after Romney recently, after both dropped out. Huckabee got the "dumm" vote and there are from his supporters that would never vote for McCain. Romney was also critisized by all the others, not Paul and Paul came up for him on the Mormon religion issue. They both spoke at the Nevada state convention and on a youtube I saw both of them together smiling, and seem to share a joke or kind remark. Romney is also more "peaceful" and "less interventionist" than McCain and said he would get rid of McCain-Feingold etc.

jesuits...

the jesuits are catholic special ops people...

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

hey athiests and others...

this is why the calling Christians "idiots" here, has got to stop.

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

But Chris Cross, you make it too easy!

I tend not to call people idiots unless I believe that they are idiots, theist or otherwise. For example, I respect and admire The Good Doctor IN SPITE OF his Christianity. You, on the other hand, are a different case entirely. While I expect you are NOT an idiot, and I find many of your comments to be thoughtful and helpful, your inattention to spelling makes broad generalizations a little too tempting. For the record, the word is spelled A T H E I S T, and derives from the same root source as DEITY, hence the E precedes the I.

To call me "athiest" is to suggest that I am more "athy" (whatever that means) than anyone else.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you are accusing people of doing... Could you clarify this?

"Just don't use whole pages of bible passages to prove a point."

To "make" a point would be more accurate.

maybe you all ought to...

read the Bible sometime...it has some VERY good points in it.

2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Since that was apparently an answer aimed at everyone, you might find it interesting that I've read the King James version of the Bible numerous times, cover to cover. Your point?

This is old speculation

It has been an idea since McCain started gaining his phony momentum.
No big surprise.
