Ron Paul publicly names neocons

Are you watching the video that accompanies the audio? The video is antisemetic drivel that reinforces the anti-defamation argument that when we say "neo-con", we mean "jew".

Come on, is this what we're going to have to put up with for the rest of the Revolution? Just because Paul and Rockwell had to pander, at one point in time, to some marginalized nationalist weirdos, does that mean that we have to put up with them NOW? They were useful idiots whose generosity greased the wheels of a movement going through very dark times. Push them back out to the fringe and focus on individual liberty instead of collectivist race-baiting.

It sounds oldish but good. I heard Rush Limbaugh on Friday open his show with a rant about neocons and he named names - David Frum AND Bill Kristol. Wow. Watch them scramble now that Revolution is No. 1 on NYTimes bestseller list. This will be funny watching them trying to throw each other off the train. Haha.s

Those who demand that this video be pulled are anti-Constitution and anti-free speech Marxists. Why is it that the Jews are the only ones we cannot criticize? I read one comment where the poster was complaining about the linking of neoconservatism to the Jews, but then he turned around and attempted to link it to Christians.

Neoconservatism is a pro-Israel Jewish movement. Yes, not all Jews are caught up in it, and not all those who are caught up in it are Jews, but it is a Jewish movement. Just like not all those in the MAFIA were Sicilians, but the MAFIA was a Sicilian organization.

The very fact that this site has a "flag as offensive" option shows that they don't care much for free speech here. I doubt RP would care for a site that prohibits free speech.

This video is propaganda to make Dr. Paul look like he is anti-Semitic, which is of course ridiculous, and it's purpose is to be divisive, which we should be alert to and not fall for. There will be other attempts of this nature, I'm sure.

Thank you to those who posted the link to the full speech, and who pointed out that it is contained in Dr. Paul's book "A Foreign Policy of Freedom." The only good thing to come out of this is bringing that to people's attention. It's amazing that he gave a speech like that on the House floor, and now we can read it in full, without the spin.

I see I'm not the first with this sentiment.

I've been meaning to watch this, and now that I have, I am extremely disappointed to see this video placed on the front page of DP (or anywhere on the site, for that matter).

I don't flag posts, and I would never flag the audio of this presentation; however, the video images are extremely inflammatory and do not reflect the views of Ron Paul nor his supporters (certainly not the bulk of his supporters!).

The combined production as it stands serves only to turn people away from RP, if not cause them to outright despise him, and by association, RP supporters.

Ron Paul's words were twisted into a racist viewpoint again and this is the reason why his supporters are not taken seriously. There may be some neocons who are jewish, but most of them are christian. Just about every jew I know supports democrats. This is laughable and the exact collectivism Ron Paul speaks out against. Jewish people are prominent in many areas of American life so if you think bankers are bad or lawyers or politicians you can find a jewish one and then convince yourself that there is some sort of Jewish conspiracy. Our government does have too close a relationship with Israel, but you cloud the issue and lose legitimacy when you expand it to be jewish americans or jewish people in general. This is sad that people are still so prejudiced and irrational. It is like calling someone a terrorist just because they are of arabic descent. Despicable.

However, stereotyping is inevitable.
The important thing is that control over the labels and definitions for those labels is crucial.
For example, the Conspiracy has controlled our thought processes through semantics for years.
By usurping the right to define what it means to be a "conservative", "liberal", "Republican", "libertarian", etc. They have manged to divide us and keep us largely unaware of the true battle lines between the colllectivists (statists/socialists) and individualists (libertarians).

The Neocons do have certain common characteristics and it is useful to discuss them as a group.
As a group they are certainly bad.

Neo-cons, Jews, Blacks, Lesbians, Bankers, Feminists, Masons, Whites, Christians, Muslims, Russians, Liberals, Conservatives, Chinese, Mexicans....................

COLLECTIVISTS.

Bunching any group of people and labelling them is collectivism. That's exactly what we're fighting against.

We're all individuals. I hate the neo-cons as much as the next guy... but I used to support them, thinking they were the conservative wing of our government.

It's wrong to label people in any way, really. We're all individuals. We all have different ideas.

All Jews aren't neo-cons. All neo-cons aren't Jews. Let's just call out the crooks by their proper name and leave it at that.

and look who is leading the way. If he can speak out and lead us, why should we shy away? I do not "hate Jews" - I hate what a group of people who claim that as a common religion are doing in the name of their god. I hate what a certain group os Muslims are doing in the name of their god. I hate what some Christians do in the name of their god. But we have to be able to say what is TRUE without apologizing. We can be gentle, discreet, but when we pretend there is not a common thread of Isreal-American dual citizens abusing power in our government to be politically correct, we are being fools.
