Yet another Freudian slip by McWar

From his latest email:

"My Friends,

We are all aware that next January, the political leadership of the United States will change significantly when a new president is sworn into our nation's highest elected office. It is important that the candidates who seek to lead our country after President Bush define their objectives and what they plan to achieve not with vague language but with clarity.

What I want to do is take a little time to describe what I hope to have achieved at the end of my first term as president...

By January 2013, at the end of my first term as president, America has welcomed home most of the servicemen and women who have sacrificed terribly so that America might be secure in her freedom. The Iraq War has been won and Iraq is a functioning democracy. The threat from a resurgent Taliban in Afghanistan has been greatly reduced but not eliminated and there has not been a major terrorist attack in the United States since September 11, 2001.

LOL

Hey Michael

If you try to reply to a comment but you aren't signed in yet, after signing in your comment gets posted to the top of the list instead of below the comment you meant to reply to.

Since I had to edit this reply to fix this and I am now completely off topic, I want to plug this service which is run by a friend of mine:

vile animal

...there has not been a major terrorist attack in the United States since September 11, 2001.

What an excrement-eating liar.

He forgets the "unsolved" anthrax attacks upon U.S. Senators Daschle and Leahy that killed postal workers in the days leading up to the passage of the U.S.A. Viet Dinh "Patriot" Act?

Under McCCCP's definition, an attack on United States Senators is not major. I wonder if he would not describe an anthrax attack upon himself, a Senator, as major.

He was, of course,

only eluding to the attacks in which they had no identifiable part, thus these would not be included in that statement.

Now 9/11, that's another story and it appears he has that story down pat!

Another excellent point

My original intent was to point out his implied intent to keep the Taliban around as scapegoats for possible future conflict, but your point is well taken.
