As this article and others like it underscore, American politics is now dominated by the welfare of a foreign nation half the size of New Jersey, and by the vote of the Jewish people, which make up just 2 percent of the American population.
Where are the candidates' debates about what is good for AMERICA? If there are any such debates, they are not reported in the media. All we see are articles about which candidate will be best for Israel. Frankly, that does not interest me. I want to know which candidate will be best for THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
The only direction this nation can go on auto-pilot is down, and it is headed there now. In their haste to please and placate Israel and to laud them with glowing praise as Bush did this past week, our political leaders have abandoned even the pretext of care or concern what happens to the US. Bush does not care what Americans think of him; he rests his legacy on the adulation of the Israelis!
How did this come about? How did the last remaining superpower on Earth become the vassal state of tiny little Israel to such an extent American leaders care nothing for America?

Please Don't Get Me Started
Great post. Believe me, you are not the only person out there who recognizes the ridiculous influence Israel has over the US. It's embarrassing. I will, no matter what it takes, become involved politically or otherwise to balance out this insanity. Jews. Israel. Holocaust. Anti-Semitism. There, did I sum up the daily news? I will, through all my personal influence and belief in what is right, engage myself in this age-old issue and will do what it takes to make the world right again - because what is happening is just plain wrong and could have horrible consequences for the America we all know and love.
And I come to this conclusion after seven years of researching this issue (started on 9/11 and haven't stopped since). It's refreshing to see I'm not the only person out there who sees what's really going out there in the world. It's a long, long discussion, but when given the time to explain the obvious motives and tactics of those who have diligently sought to take over the US - everything makes perfect sense. They have done a good job so far - but now it has to be stomped out - in a positive manner. And yes, I recognize that this would be a major, long term effort - but I don't care, as doing nothing would be far, far worse.
Wake up everyone. In another 10 years, it will be illegal to say "Merry X-Mas". And no, I'm not kidding. Please, everyone, use your mind and really think about what's going on. The reaction I see a lot on this site is "Oh, how ridiculous. Nothing of the sort is going on. Israel is a kind and decent nation that would never take advantage or do harm to the US...."
The political "correctness" already started
Major stores now say Happy holidays because we "can't" offend anyone. What happened to America? It's a very unhappy place right now. Even the music they play in public places don't even say Merry Christmas anymore. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a foreign land.
