This may sound dumb but the writer wrote:
"Last week I appeared on a number of television programs and ended up in “the green room” with a couple of GOP luminaries. One of the party’s most famous and powerful Senators and a former governor who came within a hair of becoming the vice president. You can guess which television network it was. We each had a book to promote."

Question:
1. Who were the alleged luminaries?
2. Who was the 'powerful Senator' and former governor?

Our CP and LP factions are wanting to be called r3volutionaries without being revolutionary. Those of us who stick to the game plan are the future. Just decide. That's all anyone is asking you to do, but if you decide to go, you go alone. Stop riding Ron Paul's shirttails.

If he stays in the GOP, then I stay.

They passed these stories back and forth with great gusto and laughter and genuine appreciation for the political skill of the other.

“Well,” I interrupted, “Why was all that necessary in the first place? Who are these people? Why are they so popular? And why block them? Shouldn’t the party welcome such activists into the process? Is the party so insecure that it has to cheat to protect itself? And what will the people who got cheated think about the GOP? Is this a lost opportunity? Maybe the GOP got cheated?”"............................

Doug Wead has been associated with both Bush administrations. He's president and co-chairman of the Canyonville Bible Academy board in Canyonville, Oregon. He's a man with local connections in Douglas County, Oregon and national connections to religious figures, the media and roots in the Reagan presidency.

When I informally adopted a young man from Russia and made him part of my family, Doug Wead turned out to be someone you could rely on to put liberty and people first -- liberty before unthinking dogma and rules. We have never forgotten Doug Wead.

Today, our son has a wife, a smart and precocious three-year-old boy and a continuing determination to make a good life for himself in America. Most of all, he's succeeding -- thanks in part to Doug Wead. I have spoken with Doug Wead briefly in the past. I remember him and I hope he remembers us. This is a man that I say Revolutionary Republicans can count on now and in the future.

Let's not allow the GOP (locally or nationally) to ignore the movement. Stay involved with the GOP. This will make a difference over the long run. There are valuable allies inside the GOP, but they will not be found or join with us if we are splitting up into CP, LP and undeclared factions -- and that is EXACTLY what is happening right now. Figure out that the only power base we have is the GOP. Everything else is grasping at straws. If you don't believe me, try believing Ron Paul.

Remember -- "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you."

The truth is, they have stopped ignoring us and now they are laughing. The fight has not yet begun. They won't be fighting us until we rally the numbers inside the GOP and take the committees and chairmanships. Until that day, when a majority of elected and coordinating precinct leaders are Revolutionary Republicans, they will continue to laugh. They will continue to laugh at CP and LP campaigns. They will continue to laugh at factionalism.

We have natural allies inside the GOP. Even when we are marginalized inside the GOP, one ACTIVE member of the GOP brings more to the table than ten CP or LP members in terms of our struggle for Liberty.

Fight for liberty. Register GOP. Stay the course. Never quit.
