The Illinois Patriots Political Action Committee is working to gather as much money as possible through donations to help fund a booth at the Illinois State GOP Convention in June. Donate Now!
A booth has been reserved and Ron Paul will be represented with volunteers on hand with material for the delegates attending the Republican Convention. Every effort will be made to not only ensure that there are Ron Paul delegates, but also to have Ron Paul's literature on hand for those attending the convention.
With many in the Republican party disenfranchised and not happy with the current 'presumptive nominee', supporters of Ron Paul have an ample chance to bring about awareness about Ron Paul's politics.
Our last donation blitz for the Illinois Patriots Political Action Committee was a huge success. We were able to buy Radio and Television ads with help from all of you. Read all about it.
Let us be sure to provide the necessary support needed to carry Ron Paul's message to the Illinois GOP Convention. Working together, we can take back not only Illinois, but the ideas of freedom, liberty and justice!

but the main thing is PEOPLE.
McCain and the National GOP are working very hard with the IL GOP to make sure there are a majority of McCain supporters at the convention. Call everyone you know, especially people in rural areas to be there.
I don't know how it works in Illinois, but in Oklahoma, each county has a number of votes equal to the number who have been credentialed. If one person shows up from that county, he or she gets all those votes.
We have many volunteer Ron
We have many volunteer Ron Paul delegates preparing for the convention, but the booth is necessary to have a presence there with materials of persuasion for others who may be undecided. Illinois was leaning heavaly towards Romney and Thompson, and now that they are no longer in the race, there is a chance they can support Ron Paul with the proper information!

Why run
We cannot run away from the problems or simply wish they disappear. Illinois has great resources and a wonderful public sphere. Unfortunately the state is dominated by Chicago politicians that suffer from backwards thinking like 'gun control and arming police with machine guns is the only answer to the problem of gun violence'.
Community after community, county after county, in Illinois are working to get a concealed carry law in Illinois.
