Ron Paul visits Kentucky

by Rand Paul

Ron visited Kentucky this weekend. Over 700 students and supporters crowded into the Bowling Green High School Basketball Arena. Nashville and Bowling Green television and print media covered the event. Ron's grandson, Will Paul, introduced him.

Afterwards, Barnes & Noble hosted a booksigning and over 200 copies were signed.

On May 17th, Ron travelled to Louisville. The booksigning at Borders Books was one of their largest ever. The manager said only Jimmy Carter's booksigning was larger. Over 700 books were sold to about 550 people. The linewound and wandered throughout the store and outside. See video link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBVBkdOPfu8

The speech at the Louisville Palace theater was electrifying. About 1400 people filled the auditorium. The NY Times and Louisville television and print media covered the event.

Thank You Ron Paul!

As he has stated over and over it's the ideas that will carry us and they will prevail if we don't give up! The republicans will probably lose big in November and this will be looking for reasons why they lost... let's make sure they know why!

Sadly...

Sadly....even though you all had a nice event...Obama suckered 75,000 non-thinking people to show up in Oregon....to listen to him talk for 2 hours and still not say anything.
I'm still waiting for Randy to follow an Obama speach with, "...it's just not workin' for me dog!"

TV vs grassroots. There's

TV vs grassroots. There's always more fluff and air with TV. The numbers mean nothing. Just vapid but manic filled humans gathering together because they're told it means something. The electricity and energy RP brings to his gatherings if tapped would light up NY city for years. Truth will never be measured by volumes of people

I frankly don't give a sh%$ what that guy did

This is Dr. Paul's moment thank you.

Unify

nice video at the

nice video at the signing..the interviews were a nice touch.

Great Time

That rendition of "Star Spangled Banner" was the better than the best I could've imagined it being! I'd like to thank everyone who came and everyone who has taken the time to learn what's happening in this country. Know your friends and take care. See you on the ground.

I know!

The Gilbert sisters suprised me.. I had no idea that they could sing so well. They sang the second verse as well which is something you don't hear often.

It was an awesome day and I finally got to shake hands with Dr. Paul and get his signature on my copy of the Revolution!

We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?

Yes...

Those little gals are bona fide. It was such an amazing day and I am still reveling in the joy of hearing Dr. Paul's message in person. Not to mention, seeing the twinkle in his eyes up close and personal.

Tapping (my own phone : ) was the name of the poem...did anyone catch the poet's name? He rocked it. Checking youtube now...duh.

Ron Whitehead

The name of the poet was Ron Whitehead, he also performed later at the music event at "cityblock". He wasn't kidding about the "Insane Liberty-Loving Saw Band", they played while he read!

Wow, what a day that was. I won't ever forget it.

It was neat

I went to the Palace Theater in Louisville. The lower circle was two-thirds full; I wouldn't have thought there were 1200 people though. Dr. Paul spoke for about 20 mins - he said "if we do the right things for the right reasons and follow the Constitution, only good can come of it". How true.

Whoever that guy reading that poem was, was awesome. That was maybe the best bit.
