Ron Paul Poem
Ron Paul 2008 - Copyright Sara Norman - www.websbysara.com
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness...
Is no longer our country...I must digress
No longer free...no longer brave,
We are misled from the cradle to the grave...
In our private worlds, we must retreat.
And in our homes, we feel defeat.
No longer safe or secure,
We were told of a threat,
Invaded privacies we must endure,
They took our liberties..to protect
From a so-called enemy on some distant shore.
They sent our men..to defend.
But in this war...there seems no end.
All they want to do is...spend, spend, spend.
They've taxed our lands, our fuel, our airwaves, and our labor.
If you protest, they call you a traitor.
Dangerously becoming a fascist state, I do fear...
This is the year...It's not too late...Vote Ron Paul 2008!

Is there a chance I could
Is there a chance I could share that?
It is unique from what I've seen over this whole time. I hope you write more.
Thanks,
Matt

uplifting
your poem touched my heart
the incredible otherworldly melody
perhaps because I am a poet myself...
I am in Canada and will continue to work in this Revolution...
cheers to you
