Alex Jones thread for thoughts good&bad.

I liked Ron Paul's message before I ever heard of Alex Jones. Still, I think Jones is sincere, even if he is more than a little reactionary. I believe he exaggerates things because he actually believes they are as bad as he claims.

He's stuck in the place Mr. Griffin talks about in "an idea whose time has come" where for years Mr. Griffin was screaming for people to believe him, but he wasn't giving them the tools to make the change. The people he talked to tuned him out because they either sunk into despair or got on with their own lives. Here's the video:

G. Edward Griffin has moved on from screaming about the atrocities in our global system and has tried banding together like minded people in a freedom force. Unfortunately that isn't the final step. The final step, as Alex Jones has pointed out to Ron Paul is to give people who believe in your mission goals to meet. Alex Jones tried to do this semi covertly in ronpaulwarroom, but didn't publicize it and has since left that go. Since Ron Paul dropping out of the nomination race Alex has resigned himself to screaming about whatever evil there is in the world without giving goals to his listeners.
I think the closest person to causing a real revolution is Penny Langford with www.r3volutionphase2.com-she's trying to help anyone with real liberty credentials get elected. Her site is lackluster though and needs someone who is tech savvy to help her implement the goal (the person who set up www.goooh.com also has the same idea, but its pretentious and not really helpful).

I'll throw out a few goals that can be accomplished with Alex's large audience:
-support Ron Paul's bill so-and-so and call your representative now
-get together and put candidates up on the ballots for elections
-get information to schools so they can teach our children real history
-Protest water companies who put flouride in the water ( or maybe even pay for water testing)
-find candidates who are right for the job and support them
-find the addresses of the NWO and protest there
-get our communities self sufficient so they don't have to worry about water and food.
There's alot more goals people could be accomplishing.

His goal right now is waking people up, and he's doing that. Long time listeners are tuning out though because of exhaustion.

I like Alex Jones for the information he spreads. He has opened the eyes and minds of many people I know, including myself, and shown us the evil that has permeated every level of government and society at large. On the other hand, Alex Jones uses his knowledge to stir up fear and hatred, without ever really offering a solution to fixing all the problems he's so good at pointing out.

It's another viewpoint and the more information made available to you the more able you are to extract real facts from the flow of data. I might not agree or believe everything the man says but the same can be said for CNN, CBS, ABC, and good lord especially FOX.

Today, between newspapers, television, radio, and the internet there is more than enough information to put your own facts together. I've noticed most "news" is full of conjecture, opinions, or outright lies. I don't want to nor should I have to... but I've been forced to decipher news into facts myself because all media does a piss poor job of it.

I'll hand it to Alex Jones though he does get his stuff right most of the time but I don't like the constant drone of scare tactics. "They want to make you their slaves. They own you. They are going to kill you." How nice thanks for telling me that I really didn't know. Maybe I'll get my "they shield" and duct tape my house from chemtrails and install steel doors to protect against death squads.

He has an odd and lonely niche but it is a valuable one so I would say to Alex, "keep on keeping on brother... you do provide a valuable set of information which people can't really get anywhere else. That in itself is a needed vessel to this world no matter if someone loves or hates you. You make the spectrum much bigger and I'm thankful for having such a wide spectrum to enjoy even if I don't agree with what you say."

To me Alex Jones is a part of freedom. In a lesser society none of us would even be able to hear and discuss such things without fear of imprisonment. I'll support anyone who wants to say anything. I don't have to agree with them but by god I'll at least cherish their right to say it. That is part of tolerance that I believe the spirit of this country was founded upon.

I figure there's always bad with good, and vice versa... I've heard both sides of the argument... Personally, the idea that GCN may be directly linked to ABC is more than a little suspicious... HAving said that, I've definitely gotten tons of good info from AJ over the years... I would just advise everyone to ALWAYS do your own research, no matter the source of your info. Trust your own intuition... If what AJ speaks feels like the truth to you, cool... If not... Stay away from his info...
