Who of the remaining candidates is likely to get your vote if Ron Paul does not win the republican nomination?

I think this poll is important so that we as a voting block are united on what to do. Obviously, if Dr. Paul comes out with an endorsement, then most of us would probably follow. But if not, then our voice will be heard much more if we all do the same thing, than if we are spread among 3-4 alternatives.

As such, I no longer have to "choose" what the system gives me.

if ron paul don't get the nod, its pretty well the end of the GOP, the dems already have about a 2:1 ratio. Dr. Paul was theGOP's last hope and look hows he's treated.

Ron Paul does not qualify as a write in candidate in Missouri, Votes for him will not be counted. I'll just have to wait and see what the options are.

Barr. but what a stupid poll Ron Paul will not be allowed to have a write in vote in 30 plus states because they have sore loser laws

I don't think the poll is stupid for precisely that reason. It brings the pointlessness of a write-in campaign to the forefront. I hate to see people waste votes that will count for nothing.
I don't think the sore loser laws affect write-ins.
That's more so you can't run in a (R or D) primary, then lose and run as an independant (sort of what happened with Joe Lieberman).
Not that I think it would be worthwhile to
write-in a presidential candidate because of the delegate issue. I believe Ron Paul will endorse Chuck Baldwin or possibly the LP nominee, unless he wins the Republican nomination.

delegates cast their vote at the state convention when they sign a pledge. There will be one spokes person for each state to cast all the ballots for that state. The governor if the state has a republican governor.

I am focused on Dr. Ron Paul, President.
I don't think Dr. Paul will want us to write him in. I think he would tell us what he would do and tell us to do what we think is best. By hook or by crook, I will find out what he does and do what he does. But I agree that I sure hope we all do the same exact thing. We will get no where taking this government back if we don't stay united.

Folks, you can call me any dirty name you want for pointing this out, but a write-in vote is a thrown-away vote. Third Party votes still count for something, even with a loss. Write-ins are a useless gesture.
