I heard her radio show last
I heard her radio show last week the day after the first poll and all she did was slam RP for some out-of-context Israel position that I have never heard RP state. She's a waste of time!

The survey (no longer there) was *targeted* for us only so I doubt that she cared if the referrer said DailyPaul.com... :)
Let's let this thread die though... it was dug up from the trash, for reasons that aren't clear to me and has no current relevance and does not deserve to be in the active forum topics... :)

I thought it was very unfair that she used radio buttons instead of check boxes. There are lots of good reasons to vote for Paul.
My Response was an e-mail
I just could not say that one was more important than another, and rather have braoder priorities for supporting Dr. Paul. Therefore, I selected the "e-mail Laura" option and wrote:
My choice was not in your poll. My primary reasons for supporting Dr. Paul are three:
1) Returning to the foundations of our Republic/Constitution
2) Sound fiscal policy
3) Sound foreign policy
I'm sorry thatt while all of the items in your poll are viable options, the three above speak most to me.

That Poll is BS, instead of answering the poll, please send well-reasoned emails explaining how she got that poll wrong, and why it is ultimately a ploy to support her neocon favorites.

You have to consider Laura Ingrams audience for second. I've read comments saying that "Ron Paul supporters wouldn't choose Borders over Iraq." I agree with you. However, Ingram hits the whole conservative base. This poll can easily give us a clearer window as to what the entire GOP block agrees with Ron Paul on. Think about it. We're not the only ones viewing her page. This a very popular spot to visit for all of the Republican candidates' supporters. Therefore, it does shine an albeit dim light as to how Ron can maximixe his message. If he can articulate a message that connects the importance of his foreign policy to the issue of borders, the base may begin to take a deeper look. And there is no doubt, one you dig into Ron Paul the candidate, you become a supporter.

Don't buy it
Last week she had a poll -who should drop out of the race? there were 3 choices - one of them was Ron Paul.
Do you really believe her motives are genuine? I call B.S.
Furthermore, if Ron wanted to maximize his message, he could have done a poll himself.
I would not vote in this poll.

Of course you would vote in a Ron Paul sponsored poll, and so would I, but that's not the point. Even if this poll is "fudged" or "skewed" it could still be a decent indicator as to where the GOP stands as a whole. Think about… The Republican base has been responding to scare tactics by the other candidates. Their major concern is securing the country.
They (the Bush supporter base) have a hard-time digesting Ron’s foreign policy. However, he is one of the stronger border candidates. Therefore, they find that issue to be the one they tend to agree with him on the most.
You and I love his foreign policy. We get it, and we can see how it is all connected. They haven’t been able to do that… Yet!
Ron can maximize his message by making it efficient. That does not mean watering it down. It means connecting the dots.

Are you going to tell me that a fudge poll is going to give accurate results. Moreover, why should we vote if indeed it is fudged as you say so the GOP is more aware of the important issues?
Sounds like they want to capitalize it in their own campaigns to convince Paul supporters to support them instead

First things first here...
First of all I am not a rat. I have been around here for quite a while and I assume there are a few people here who could vouch for my past. Secondly, how in the hell is posting a poll going to convince us to support another candidate?
All I am trying to say is that even if our votes are discounted it can still give us a good idea as to where the party stands. Period. Therefore, we might want to take notice and at least consider giving it some thought.

Quite frankly, we all need to stop being so jumpy. We are winning, it's about time we started acting like it. We have asked Dr. Paul to do the same. Fair is fair, we need to as well.
We aren't backed into a corner anymore... (this isn't directed at you, but at the person who said you smelled funny... :) ) Stop jumping at shadows, we are a large group with differing opinions on things, AND we all use a different frame of reference to make judgments. Disagree with someone, tell them why, but don't say "I'. right, your wong and therefore I don't trust you."
This poll, regardless of who took it or not was an excellent sign that we are being taken seriously AND that they have given up on trying to exclude us... :) That was it's purpose in my eyes for making the post...

It isn't just about the war
That's what the rest of the Republicans don't understand. The party has indeed lost it's way and Ron Paul finally wants to do something about it and he's got a large portion of the party (and democrats and independents as well) behind him. The "he's unelectable" talk should end because he's the ONLY electable one up there.

I just LOVE how she managed to narrow ending all foreign subsidies down to "Ending support for Israel (!!!)". She really pisses me off.

What do we care if the poll is accurate... we all know why support Dr. Paul.
I didn't post this to give Laura information, although she has started to come around. I posted this because I thought it was an important milestone. They have stopped trying to eliminate us from polls, and now are targeting JUST us... :)
It is an important development. We have been recognized as an organized, coherent, powerful force to be reckoned with... :)

Laura Ingraham promotes fascism. It baffles me that there are Ron Paul supporters who respect the likes of Ingraham, Hannity and Rush. The Ron Paul movement is (imo) all about truth, honesty and integrity. These radio clowns are the exact opposite of that.

Look, the Republican Neo-cons are already mentioning the constitution more and more. Tonights Democrat Debate (Oct 30) John Edwards was attacking Bush for violating the Constitution! He assailed the others on stage for letting Bush get away with it! They are already running on Ron's platform to some extent! Choose the NAFTA box to check. She can't do much with that one! Trap or not.

If they allowed us to provide multiple answers, and if the positions were worded better, they would get a real feel for what is driving us... but they didn't, so let them have their misinformation... :)

Laura Inghram Poll
Do not believe that Ron Paul supporters selected Border Control versus get out of Iraq. I happen to believe the number one issue for Dr. Paul is bring the troops home, secondly the Federal Reserve, thirdly possibly the border, As part of getting out of Iraq he would like to bring home the troops from Korea, Europe, Okinawa, Japan, etc.
This poll is b/s and Laura is being a little tricky here.
