Should we interview Chuck Baldwin? I need feedback!

I have had contact with Chuck Balwins campaign staff.

They would like for us to interview him.

Should we interview him?

Feedback is appreciated.

Here's a novel idea ....

Here's a novel idea .... just interview him, already ... or don't! Obviously there are a lot of people here who support him. Make an editorial decision - isn't that why you're one of the people in charge of this thing? Geez.

Yes, you should. You should

Yes, you should. You should also interview Bob Barr.

We've all seen how the media has treated us this past year. Let's not repeat their bias. We are the new media, so we should act responsibly.

3rd parties will never have a chance in our democracy if we the people don't treat them seriously or equally... So, let's take the initiative and do just that.

We did interview Bob Barr

We did interview Bob Barr and ever other (L) CANDIDATE prior to the convention.

We can probably get him back on.

oh yes, now I remember... I

oh yes, now I remember... I unfortunately missed all those interviews...

Well, to make up for the lack of attention these 3rd party candidates will be getting, you might as well make up the difference...

Not voting for him but...

it's your network, do what you want.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

Questions that I would like

Questions that I would like have answered by both Barr and Baldwin.

1.Will you put a stop to the Security and Prosperity Partnership (or whatever name it's going by these days)?

2.Will you pull the U.S. troops out of ALL nations around the globe and bring them home to better provide for defense of this nation?

3.Will you put a stop to the NAFTA Super Highway?

4.Will you abolish the Federal Reserve?

5.Will promote a foreign policy of NON-INTERVENTIONISM?, i.e. NO more foreign aid to nations of any sort for any reason. This means money/weapons/training of their military forces on our soil like School of Americas in Ft.Benning, Ga.

6.Will you prosecute employers to the fullest extent of the law that employ illegal aliens?

7.Will you cut off ALL aid to all illegal aliens in this country? i.e. NO more social security, welfare, college grants for their children, etc.

8.Will you end birth right citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants in this country?

9.Would you work to restore a debt free, interest free monetary system that is backed by some form of a standard that will put tight restrictions on how much the government can spend?

10. Will you work to end the Income Tax and replace it with NOTHING?

11.Will you work to get the US out of free trade deals such as NAFTA/CAFTA/GATT etc?

12.Will you work to disband the Dept. of Education and actively promote homeschooling as a viable option?

13.Will you oppose any and all legislation designed to subsidize special interests such as HMO's?

14. Will you work to ban forced vaccinations/immunizations?

15.Will you work to protect the 2nd amendment for private citizens of this country, and not just for milita members?

16.Will you stop ALL participation in the UN/WTO/IMF/WorldBank?

17.Will you put a stop to eminent domain abuse in the US?

18. Will you relegate the issue of drug legality to the States as it should be according to our Constitution?

19. Will you relegate the issue of abortion to the States and support Ron Paul's Sanctity of Life Act?

20.Will you support the freedom of choice for both patient and doctor and let the free market provide for a better healthcare system here in the US?

21.Will you promote an independent investigation of 9/11 and if government officials are found guilty of crimes, prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law?

22. Will you work towards a phasing out of Social Security, Welfare, Minimum Wage laws?

Are any list items controlled by the President?

Doesn't Congress have to pass laws for Presidential signature first?

Aren't many of those state's right issues, not federal?

Could/would Ron Paul answer "yes" to the whole list, even in Congress?

I'd like to hear Baldwin and

I'd like to hear Baldwin and Barr's answers and will be writing both of them. I don't want some brief overview of what the candidates might or might not do. I want a definitive yes or no to these questions. Most of them are for the Congress to put forth, but being president offers a bully pulpit where he can promote these platform planks.

Laurie is right.

Laurie is right. Unfortunatly, the solution to the American malaise must be bottom up, not to down. Until most citizens can answer a resounding YES to all these questions the Paul revolution may be doomed to flounder.

The bully pulpit was used to

The bully pulpit was used to trick the populace into believing we should attack Iraq. I don't see any reason why it couldn't be used to promote these platform questions.

Great list...Yes to all.

Great list of questions. YES!!!!!! I'd like to hear them answer.

just ask him, that when we get Dr. Paul as the Republican Nominee, will he endorse him?? or will he compete with him?

Absolutely!.....Though some of the Purists Here Would Rather Sti

ck their head in the sand and refuse to vote for him or Bob Barr!...He's a good man...as is Bob Barr.....They are our two choices...better choose up now to make the greatest impact....

Ron Paul'08

By all means, interview

By all means, interview Baldwin but you could interview Barr as well. This could be important for RP supporters who don't know who to support. Even I'm on the fence. I think you should ask them tough questions and what they plan on doing. Most of us know about Baldwin and Barr but I think I'm not the only one who thinks that the ideal thing would be for them to say what they really think out of their mouths. I'm not leaning towards any of them yet.

What about

Mary Ruwart? She will indorse Ron Paul.

"Dr. Steve Parent": Sigh

Please correct your typo in the OP: "Balwins" should be "Baldwin's".

Does this thread mean:
1. RevolutionBroadcasting's content will be determined by "polls" like MSM?
2. Forums will be dominated by RB "poll threads" being popped to the top every time someone votes??

You posted the same thread topic on RonPaulForums, as well. I noticed that the moderators already moved your thread off of the primary page that people visit on RPFs since it was *not* about RP.

Obviously, before the RNC, interviewing RP's *opposition* is *not* a broadcast station to promote RP.

That also means that this thread is just as off-topic as the other Baldwin and Barr threads.

Even worse is that every vote pops to the top!

Yet another abuse of forums-

We love you Laurie. Great

We love you Laurie.

You ask if you should

You ask if you should interview Chuck Baldwin after having interviewed Root? I can't believe it. LOL.

If you are going to

give time to other 3rd Party candidates - ie: Barr etc...
absolutely - interview Baldwin

I vote no

I like a lot of what Mr. Baldwin says, but he tends to tie his religion in with his politics. No matter how much the fundamentalists want it to be so, we should keep religion OUT of politics. The Founding Fathers knew this. It seems to be one of many principles our nation was founded upon which has been forgotten.

Truth is treason in an empire of lies.

Separation of Church and

Separation of Church and State actually isn't one of the founding principles--it's an idea Thomas Jefferson once wrote about in a private letter years after the Constitution was written.

The Constitution only prohibits founding of a national church.

Support the Constitution of the United States

Jefferson was not even in the country when the constitution was written, but he did regularlly attend church services during his presidency; church was held in the congressional chambers every Sunday and Jefferson had the navy band play hymns for the worship. Let the seperation idiots put that in their pipe and smoke it.
