Blowback at Republican Minnesota State Convention - Karl Rove could give Paul more delegates

Karl Rove will appear at the Minnesota Republcian State Convention this weekend. He was suppose to counter the appearance of Ron Paul, but actually his appearance might backfire and cause more delegates to go the way of Presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Rove's timing is terrible, a book by former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan tells all about how the effort to go to war in Iraq was all propaganda by Rove and Bush.

McClellan writes that Bush and his team sold the Iraq war by means of a "political propaganda campaign" in which contradictory evidence was ignored or discarded, caveats or qualifications to arguments were downplayed or dropped and "a dubious al-Qaida connection to Iraq was played up.

"We were more focused on creating a sense of gravity and urgency about the threat from Saddam Hussein than governing on the basis of the truths of the situation," McClellan wrote.

McClellan says that Karl Rove was the mastermind behind the lies and propagand to go to war in Iraq.

When Rove heads to Minnesota, I wouldn't be shocked if he receives the cold shoulder.

I would suggest printing up flyers with quotes from the book about what Rove did and passing them out and hanging them up all over the convention.

message, thanks for posting. They are using the same play book for Iran. We know their game plan, time to go on the offense in exposing this play. Time for an interception and take control of this play. Damn, don't know how I got into this football lingo I don't even watch it. Hee,hee

welcome Rove with boos

Make a motion that his speach should be cancelled

McClellan with a Conscience

I would like to see if this (blowback) would happen to open the eyes and mind of the delegates who have been brainwashed by the neoncons and MSM to truth. I would say some, hopefully many.

Morpheus: The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Bring it on!

Bring it on!

I'm sure

that "Reichsmarshall Rove" will expect "all heels to click" when he enters the stage.

Thanks [bed1]...

I don't care what party they belong too, I just want the "truth" too be told ! Is it possible the R3volution had an effect on his conscious? Maybe just bitter and he is ready too snitch? Good thing he did not work 4 Clinton :-P

Added > http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080529/D90V0COO0.html > "The heart of the book concerns Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq, a determination McClellan says the president had made by early 2002 - at least a full year before the invasion - if not even earlier."

"He includes criticism for the reporters whose questions he fielded. The news media, he says, were "complicit enablers" for focusing more on "covering the march to war instead of the necessity of war." [END] Bend over MSM :-P

Razorwind Studios is an official endorser of Ron Paul, and we will live free or die! 14th alternate to MN state!

I can't wait to hear Ron Paul speak before (sigh) the convention. I'm going to try to get him to sign one of my copies of the Revolution. It is so exciting! I hope I will get seated so I can actually take place in the process. Rest assured, I WILL have my video camera.

not to worry

I think that you will be seated... see you there!

And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have been informed (by a very reliable source) that there will not be time for autographs, pictures with the great man, etc... because of the timing of the beginning of the convention... sorry.

We need to make big

We need to make big wonderful posters and fliers detailing Rove and his bio and put them up everywhere...

I'm not a delegate, but I just so happen to work at the Rochester Art Center, connected to the Civic Center where the Convention is... perhaps I'll stop by ; ) (after Ron Paul of course)

I think I will spend tomorrow preparing for battle, I mean the Convention...

Oh my gosh

lol, I love it when a plan comes together.

I think Congress just

I think Congress just indicted him over voter fraud or something, too..This is the sort of person that the Republicans are now supporting, so they probably like him just fine.

Not idicted yet

Karl is still claiming "executive privilege" although the Dems want to haul him up to congress.

Check out Karl Rove's

Check out Karl Rove's goosestepping geneology. This could be great for Paul.

The MSM might want to brush McClellan under the rug but Minnesota elephants don't forget. (let's hope) This made my night!
