Anti-American Hugo Chavez To Give Free Oil To Blacks

Anti-American Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez is to give free & cheap oil to poor black families in U.S. cities while GW Bush refuses to lower taxes on gasoline to help ease-up the crucifixtion of this people at the gas pumps.

Republican-oriented FOX news calls those that accept the cheap oil as "traitors" and "terrorist sponsors".

lastmovement, you need to

lastmovement, you need to correct your first post. There is no way that this discounted oil is only available to Black people. No way. Poor people yes, but not limited to only poor Black people. No company could get away with conducting business in such a racist manor.

After watching the documentary...I'm convinced Bush is the Devil

Once again, the US Government is the real tyrant. They may say they support democracy but it's obvious their actions show their true nature.

I am so asshamed of my government... What a sorry bunch.

We should learn from the Venezulans.

Hugo Chavez is also for a South American Central bank.

I won't bad mouth him since it isn't my business, but he certainly isn't everything people make him out to be. NWO piece of the puzzle in place.

A South American Union, modeled along the European Union, was formed when the Union of South American Nations Treaty was signed last Friday, May 23, 2008. All twelve South American countries united under the treaty which seeks to form a common currency, passport, parliament, and defense. The UNASUR (Spanish: Union de Naciones Suramericanas) or UNASUL (Portuguese: Uniao de Nacoes Sul-Americanas) will be headquartered in Quito, Ecuador. Here is a list of the member countries of UNASUR:
Argentina
Bolivia
Brazil
Chile
Colombia
Ecuador
Guyana
Paraguay
Peru
Suriname
Uruguay
Venezuela

um

To be honest, just because Chavez is anti-Bush or anti our foreign policy doesn't mean he's anti-American.

I don't like Chavez for other reasons but Bush does not represent the America I know.

How black do you have to be?

Are there going to be genetic and genealogical studies done?

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

1st of all it's not "free" it's at a 40% discount and secondly

it's not "blacks" it's people who can't afford 100% full price and third all major oil companies were asked and Citgo agreed,,,,,,but your title is much more "catchy"

"free" markets

I think what the councilman meant was that freeing up sectors of the market tends to initially produce a certain degree of unemployment... for us. When more sectors of the world economy are opened up, it is only a natural assumption that some businesses and corporations would relocate, or atleast expand, to those areas of the world, thus, creating a loss of some "x" amount of jobs in the US. Cheaper labor is obviously the largest catalyst of this reaction.

How is the councilman ignorant for having recognized this? If anything, I would say that he is more enlightened than most people in this country to what is going on with the global economy.

The councilman was not trying to insult our ideals of a free market economy. He was actually trying to comment on what Hugo Chavez has done with Venezuela (destroying the free market in his nation, thus lowering unemployment). To understand this, you have to consider the "world unemployment" rate as opposed to just ours. There are many areas of the world that we are not free to trade with, thus, our unemployment rate is much, much lower than most of the world. However, as markets free up, things start to level off.

Example- a business moves to China, taking 5,000 jobs with it.
Result- US unemployment goes up, China's unemployment goes down, World unemployment stays the same. (Not to say that we are completely cut off from China, just trying to prove a point.)

Chavez sure knows how to

Chavez sure knows how to divert attention from his own failings, doesn't he? Quite a performance on his part.

Why just to poor blacks??

Why not to the poor in general?? If he would go that route, I would support it, but not just giving it to "poor blacks."

Hi Jrb,the title of this post imho,is very misleading I counted

3 "untruths" in it. (pls see my post above for clarification) and also please watch youtube (from faux) with interview w/councilman for what is actually being done. I am not saying I agree 100% w/what is going on but I am saying that I have a problem with a misleading race baiting post that is in essencs a lie. Take that foir what you will and make up your own mind. Peace out Betsy!

I'm not sure lowering taxes on gas

would help at this point. The truth is, the market distortions that have come from oil have been going on so long, targeted deregulation will only make the problem worse in the long run.

**REPOST** Let's get to the point here

What Chavez does with his oil or any other oil in Venezuela is none of our damn business. If people disagree with his policy, they don't have to buy his oil or accept it for free. This is truth. There is no need to debate what Chavez is doing. The people of his country chose him to run it, and they are responsible for what he does, not us, not anyone else. If Venezuelans hated Chavez and what he stood for, they would throw him out on his ass. Fortunately for them, they don't have a propaganda machine paid by bankers ramming groupthink down their throats.

Chavez will not allow a central bank in his country. Remember what happened to the US in 1812 because of this? Remember the struggles of Andrew Jackson? If not, you'd better go bone up. The bankers are out to get anyone who won't let them play in their yard, and they have the money and 'friends' to back it up.

I would say that the whole uproar over Chavez has less to do with oil and social policies than it does with the bankers. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

I, for one, will leave Hugo Chavez alone.

well said!!! :)

Great comment!

I agree with you and we should leave Hugo Chavez alone. I am actually starting to see how the propaganda machines make certain people look like monsters because they don't "conform". Find the truth for yourself, question everything, but don't be to quick to judge.

Chavez

Fortune Favors the Bold

is not the second coming of hitler the neo-cons make him out to me. He is also not the great hero the socialists make him about to be. He is a moderately benevolent dictator. Still a dictator.

In alot of third world countries, the "capitalism" they have is closer to kleptocracy. Chavez was probably a moderate improvement over the previous system. But make no mistake, he is a communist dictator. Somehow I feel, if the tide turned, and he was was no longer as popular, he would "know better" then the people and remain in power anyway.

Fortune Favors the Bold

No he is not...

Chavez is NOT a dictator. You watch too much Fox.

He has been elected time and again by a sweeping majority of the people.
Last year or whenever it was, he put forth a referendum, asking the people whether or not they would like him to run the country for (I can't recall if it was another term or perhaps more) a longer term. The people, by a close count decided no, and that was the end of the story. At the end of this term he will stand down.

Is that a dictator?

Give your head a shake my friend.

Hey Archons', we are taking our planet back and there's nothing you can do about it!

Looks like I need more schooling

Thanks for the reply to my comment! I was not being wise, and I jumped the gun. Sometimes I get ahead of myself, and assume things. Anyway, I need to remember not to judge until all the facts are in, or preferably not judge anyone at all, and just live my life, and deal with my own problems. Anyway, Chavez still seems to be in the right on this issue of giving people oil if he wants to.........as long as it is HIS own personal oil, and not the oil of the Venezuela people. Anyway, I will butt out of this topic, as I am not well educated on this subject, and I would do best to keep my mouth closed.

So what?

That position is purely theoretical and cannot be proven. Even if that did happen, what business would it be of ours?

Our concern is THIS country, a fascist empire run on deceit and lies. We have our own problems, let the people of Venezuela worry about Hugo Chavez.

The Revolution will not be televised. Excellent documentary shows how brave this guy really is.

Well if I had a choice between Chavez and Bush...

I would have to go with Chavez. And it wouldn't be close!

If we are going to think and do as non-interventionists we have to allow Venezulans to do there thing as they please. Venezula as Iran represents no threat to the USA other than exposing our government for what it is.

I'm certainly LESS WORRIED

I'm certainly LESS WORRIED about Chavez than Bush! Bush has almost destroyed this country constitutionally.

I really don't care much if Chavez gives away oil to black people--as Thomas Jefferson says, "That neither picks my pocket, nor breaks my leg."

SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA

Thats what fox thinks.

My state was one of the first to receive heating oil back in 2005. (CT,MA,NY were the first). Kennedy and the mayors of Harlem and New Haven were soon forced to defend this as media attacked full force. Even though the government buys the majority of the oil from Chavez. I know they were only mad at the discount and that they werent allowed to sell it at full price. Its kinda sick when the guy that they portray as Hitler is the one helping the poor. How christian like I know Bush hates real christians.

This program was designed for the poor, Fox just paints it as if your poor your black. It was part of a energy assistance program. Too bad we dont have one.

You'll have to dig...

....a bit, but when you find out what the US has done to Chavez and his family PERSONALLY....you will understand his hatred of the US government...any one of us would as well. We're talking CIA spooks threatening his kids' lives, etc...you know, the same crap America has pulled all over the world for decades.
I have never heard what Senior Chavez has to say about RP...anyone know?

Anti-American...hum...were have I heard that before ?

As an offshore patriot with over 23 yrs. in Latin America ( Costa Rica & Columbia ) I can tell you first hand. Hugo Chavez is a friend of Ron Paul's and of the truth movement. He is fighting against the same global forces that attack us.

No electronic voting machines are necessary when you have 80+% of the popular vote. When the pueblo didn't thnk his policy was right they voted it out ( as was done a few months ago ). No shams...No shills.

"offshore patriot"? wouldn't you be an expat?

I often consider selling all my crap and moving to Costa Rica. Could I be an offshore patriot too? Doesn't really matter I guess. At least I wouldn't be concerned with the coming police state.

Connecting dots

Sure, Chavez can buy oil for people if he wants. And yet...well, I'm not exactly sure what to make of this chain of ideas; maybe someone can fill in the blanks...

- a leader of a foreign nation, who isn't exactly known for being a liberty-loving, freedom-forwarding type of leader, benevolently directs his charity towards those in our population who crave assistance (and who often feel it is their birthright to be supported by our government from cradle to grave). Naturally, they are thrilled to get their free lunch.

- filled with deep appreciation and a recognition that, "Hey, at least some government is helping us," a broader acceptance of allowing other nations to provide for us sets in. The notion of being beholden to these other nations either doesn't enter into consideration, or is shrugged off as not a problem.

- more people struggling to make ends meet see this generosity lavished upon the poor, and start mentioning that they're having trouble buying gas (and food and etc.) too, and by golly, they want their piece of this charitable pie

- the notion of "where's my free pie?" grows across more demographics, as more people feel the sting of favoritism and don't want to be left out of the free-for-all...especially as gas climbs to $6, $7, $10/gallon...

- those who would be president of the U.S. point to the success of working together with other nations (which would be more accurately described as allowing other governments to dictate how we live) and use that as a springboard to further the enthusiasm for one world government

- combine this with Obama's bill for our U.S. taxpayers to "donate" .7% (.07%?) to other nations; a commitment which would put us under UN rules mandating that our people be relieved of small arms (handguns and the like) -- many, many people cheer on the Helping Others Because That's Nice philosophy and either miss or (again) shrug off the consequences (lost ability to arm yourself)

- with free gas in the tank and that fuzzy, warm feeling we get from sending our money to other nations to improve the lives of other nation's people, more Americans get on the bandwagon of worldwide happiness (aka one world government)

- while it seems that Americans get more Chuck E. Cheese tokens in the form of free gas and/or other subsidies, those "gifts" come with a hefty price. In this case, it goes beyond mandatory purchase of pizza that tastes like cardboard and a room full of loud arcade games populated with oversized costumed characters; instead, the price exacted involves giving up sovereignty, losing the protections of our Constitution, and the hope of freedom for our children.

- we all work together to make this globe a happy, shiny place, and all you need to do in return is give up all your sovereignty, but that's okay because our benevolent overlords assure us, "We'll Take Good Care Of You"

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts is a warning not limited to Greeks.

Chavez rocks

Hugo Chavez, in my books, has always been a genuine champion for the little guy. He is fair and democratic in his policies and THAT is why the Bush Regime can not tolerate him.

The Bush Dictatorship punishes anyone that doesn't tow the OPEC or the AIPEC lines as we can see with Iraq, Afganistan and Iran. US would be in way better hands with Chavez running it as opposed the the Strausian Bushites.

I also felt like putting my fist right through that Fox A-Holes face. The Congressman was awesome and he told it like it is.

There, now my morning rant is complete.
