President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas: We're screwed.

I'm rather shocked to see a high-ranking member of the Federal Reserve system be so candid, but here it is:

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

WOW! ...We have to remember... even the elite are people

Maybe this guy got a Ron Paul flyer and actually read it...

We should be ready to accept all free thinking people regardless of where they come from.

I am constantly pointing out "Cowards!!!" and Ignorance within the leadership of our country and military on our show... but even they can redeem themselves by showing and doing courageous acts... like telling the truth... maybe Scott McClellan listened to our show?

Very Good Point! They need to understand the

situation better. They need to listen to Ron Paul. They are the ones who need to WAKE UP!

Creatures willingly

Creatures willingly associated with the federal reserve are not people in my mind. I don't care what they say, they know what they are doing and what they are a part of. They have no right to cry wolf.

They want

McCain. The article seemed anti-Democrat. I know he bashed both sides but it seems like a lesser of 2 evils appeal to me for some reason.

Not to me, it doesn't.

Central banker first

He's not looking out for us. According to him, we're the problem. OK, let's begin to rectify the situation by repealing the Federal Reserve Act.

I think it's a legit

I think it's a legit statement. Whether through stupidity or apathy, unless you believe completely that representatives cannot be elected into office to fix the problem fairly, it is the electorate's fault, if even indirectly.

Ok, I just read wpsmithjr's post below, and I agree with it. It's not really the electorate's fault when they elect someone who does not do what they say. My bad :). But maybe it's the electorate's job to see through the B.S. as politics is ALWAYS B.S....

And here is the lovely little lie to make us blame us

"I mean “you” literally. This situation is of your own creation. When you berate your representatives or senators or presidents for the mess we are in, you are really berating yourself. You elect them. You are the ones who let them get away with burdening your children and grandchildren rather than yourselves with the bill for your entitlement programs."

Even if our votes were accurately tallied, I would share this blame. However, I have almost never voted for a person who actually won, I am always fighting for less taxes, less government, less entitilements... However, to expect me to feel guilty for this mess when I have lost friends, family and career fighting to change it? And to use the VOTE I have probably been defrauded of my entire life as the finger to point that blame? BS. I agree with someone elses assesment, he is trying to pave the way for the Amero with financial fearmongering.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

I predict

that Ron Paul fans will soon wake up to the idea of secession. Please watch this video about the REAL movement against empire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np3VTt0CnUE&eurl=http://middl...

What about the lies?

That's what boggles my mind. How can he say it's OUR fault when all the presidents... especially the republicans and particularly GW, promise us balanced budgets, reduced spending, wiping out the deificit, etc., etc.

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...

We can't help it our politicians lie, cheat and steal our money once in office. We can't help it they talk a good line and then do the opposite.

If there was more than one Ron Paul in Congress it might be different. If Ron Paul was president, it might be different. But, when the sheep keep voting for the same criminals who continue to lie to us... we're screwed.

Just like the title to this thread.

the sheep are doing the best they can with the options given

Interesting that you start off exonerating us due to the lies of the politicians, yet end blaming the sheep who keep voting for criminals who lie to us all. Part of the "lie" is that we vote from an open pool. "Average Joe" will never hold an office above PCP, he cannot afford it. We are offered a choice of subsidized criminals and told we are "free" to pick our criminal. Because some of the people still believe some of the lies they are told is no reason to be angry with them or call them names. It is actually part of what makes us GOOD - the desire to see good in others - that blinds them to the lies the lying liars are telling them.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

Exactly

I was hoping someone else would catch that.

Thanks for the link.

That was a good read.

This part even sounds like Dr. Paul...

"In the long run, growth cannot be sustained if markets are undermined by inflation. Stable prices go hand in hand with achieving sustainable economic growth. I have said many, many times that inflation is a sinister beast that, if uncaged, devours savings, erodes consumers’ purchasing power, decimates returns on capital, undermines the reliability of financial accounting, distracts the attention of corporate management, undercuts employment growth and real wages, and debases the currency."

It's High School Economics!

Only what they don't question of course is the reason why the congress should borrow money into existence rather than coining gold and silver like they are supposed to!

Multi-faceted attack

This is a lead-up to the "need" to move the currency to the Amero/NAU, in order to "save" the economy.

They're just lining their ducks in a row.

Thanks for the link and heads-up notice of important speeches.
4PresPaul of uSofAmerica or TexasRepublic.

4PresPaul in Texas or usAmerica

i appreciate his candor

but he also slightly defends the Fed later in the article touting it's independence and authority.

would like to see he and david walker go at it for a half hour.

Not sure if this is relevant to the above article

but I came across this website earlier:

http://ml-implode.com/

Scroll down a little and you see the list of imploded banks.

Did you notice his bio?

"From 1997 to 2001, Fisher was deputy U.S. trade representative with the rank of ambassador. He oversaw the implementation of NAFTA, negotiations for the Free Trade Area of the Americas, and various agreements with Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Chile and Singapore. He was a senior member of the team that negotiated the bilateral accords for China's and Taiwan's accession to the World Trade Organization."
