****NC Judge Rules No Third Party Ticket Allowed*****

He FEELS that having more than two parties will confuse people. I don't believe he can change it.

Here in AK, we have at least five or more parties on the ballot in most every election: Democrats, Republicans, Alaskan Independence Party, Libertarians, Greens, Veterans Party, Republican Moderates, and a few others that qualify for the ballot from time to time. The first four have pretty much permanent ballot access, because their voter registration numbers are high enough. The Greens and Republican Moderates tend to fall on and off the ballot from one election to the next, due to low vote counts and low registration numbers.

Apparently Alaskans are smarter than the NC Courts assume their own citizens to be. Just because NC Elections staff are dumber than a pile of bear scat in the Smoky Mountain woods doesn't mean the electorate are!!!!

NC might like to know that in AK, on one's Voter registration form, one can declare oneself to be any number of things:

Political Parties:
[] Alaska Democratic Party
[] Alaska Libertarian Party
[] Alaska Republican Party
[] Alaskan Independence Party
Political Groups:
[] Green Party of Alaska
[] Republican Moderate Party
[] Veterans Party of Alaska
Other:
[] Nonpartisan (no party affiliation)
[] Undeclared (no party declared)
[] _____________

They should make it simple and not confusing: ONE candidate.
