Anyone filming ?
...And, yes, I have seen The Constitution
I do believe some people are
I do believe some people are filming. Right now we are getting Delegate Credentials read to us and finding out how many Alternates will be seated.
Nothing super exciting yet, but man do I feel the calm before the storm.
I can't wait!!!
Just sitting here in Port Orchard, WA. My husband is there, but I haven't heard anything since 9am. This waiting is killing me. Go Washington!!
Update from the convention yesterday...
"Well it is late and I am very tired.
What a day! Things are looking good. I will know more tomorrow.
All the candidates booths are in one area and Dr Paul's booth and Michael Delavar's BOOTH IS IN A DIFFERENT AREA OFF TO THE SIDE. Republicans in secret meetings all day. Lots of games being played. I will try and get word off to you tomorrow on what is happening. Ok got to get to bed have to be back at 6:30am."
So, secret meetings and games. No surprise there from the WSRP. I will post more as I get news from our people in Spokane.

Anxious awaiting news
Just remember the lessons learned from Nevada and Do No leave the convention hall if there is any unfinished business (see the "Nevada Update" I just posted)....do not allow unnecessary delay tactics from the podium...stay calm no matter what...and GOOD LUCK!

I'm very curious to see how the GOP bigwigs in WA will try to subvert the will of the people in WA. Will they pull a repeat of the "Delay and Deny" strategy as done in NV, or will they be more creative this time?

This is why the #1 order of business should be the removal and replacement of the chair. Don't even let the games begin. Own the floor from the getgo.
GO, WASHINGTON!
A few excerpts from this article in today's Seattle Times: Ron Paul die-hards a force in state GOP (emphases mine) --
Give Ron Paul supporters credit for tenacity.
John McCain may have a lock on the national Republican presidential nomination, but that hasn't deterred Paul's followers in this state.
They're still turning out in droves to support the Texas congressman's presidential bid, dominating local GOP conventions in places like Spokane and Whatcom counties.
By some estimates, Paul supporters could total up to 40 percent of 1,100 delegates expected at the state GOP convention that starts today in Spokane.

[Chairman of the Spokane County Republican Party Curt] Fackler said he hopes the party embraces Paul's supporters because they represent a significant bloc of voters. "We need them as Republicans to win elections," he said.
